P0301 misfire code after crank sensor changed
2late4u replied to mikec26's topic in Engine & Transmission
well not sure on the km to miles but the 2.4 plugs should be be changed every 30 k and need to use the OEM copper plugs for best results so maybe the #1 plug is going bad or the coil, not sure but i would replace all the plugs again, good luck- 13 replies

Electrical issues caused by this?
2late4u replied to Rswick's topic in Electrical, Battery & Charging
this a hard question to answer so many have said different things they found that they said fixed their problems from bad grounds at the frame and starter to corrosion under the fuse block that you are showing in the pics..good luck might want to check with a electrical expert shop on cars for more help -

2010 Dodge Journey R/T electrical issues
2late4u replied to William Burke's topic in Electrical, Battery & Charging
agree with the above post,if wires are missing its because of someone removing them ,as from the factory they would have been there and the horn would have worked, did you get a car fax or anything on this journey? the rear door lights would be a switch not being activated or possible wiring messed up .sounds like your car has been involved in an accident or something for wires being missing and being repaired maybe by a fly by night repair shop so it might not show up in paperwork somewhere....good luck P.S. nice looking car for its age.... -
i dont use the closest dodge dealership to where i live i drive an extra 20 miles to one i have found i can trust and as far as the nav i dont have it and dont want it same for the awd just more problems and no real benefit as far as i can see. take care

sorry you are having problems with your journey, sometimes some are just a money pit but just as you bought a used one doesn't mean it was taken care of before you got it,also third party warranty are usually a pain in the arse to work with is it the dodge dealership you are working with or a different dealership it makes a BIG difference, and as you make the comment older vehicles are still available but they dont offer the options that most drivers are wanting these days, hopefully they can find your problem i had a 2011 mainstreet journey that i put 70 k on without no real problems except the smaller brakes that they came with, like it so much i traded it in on my 2014 and have 93 k on it with only 2 small repairs on it -
welcome to our group.i have a 2014 crossroad with about 93 k on it right now ,have only had 2 problems with it the oil sender unit went bad at about 45 k covered under my extended warranty and a wheel sensor went bad about 91 k dealer fixed it for about$59 ( since it was less than my $100 ded on my warranty) when i was having my plugs and coolant changed out.other than that i really love my journey. good luck on yours

you say ill never buy another dodge BUT I hate to tell ALL car manufactures will do the same thing if they have a recall on the software or other parts, just consider the VW diesel scandle if the owners take it in to be fixed the mpg goes down and maybe other things happen to it,of course i read some where you couldn't renew the tags on one if it hadent been serviced ,maybe that was just in states where the cars have to have a special tag for emissions.

have heard pros and cons on the flush system and i really have never had the flush done, as I always figured you need to change the filter

well just went to the dr today 13 days past surgery, have a real long rail road track going down from about 5 inches above the knee to about 4 inch below the knee, x rat looked great he said he removed the brace and also the ace wrap and then showed me how to put it back on since he said i could take it off for a sit down shower only. he said when standing still i could put a bit of weight on it but not to try to take a step with weight on it.suppose to go back in 2 more weeks ,he said rehab wont start for at least 4 more weeks from now. looks like a long road to go but i have some great family helping me so its all good....LOL that hurt.

tire pressure would not disable the cruise control ,now an abs light or the etc light as well, sounds like all your trouble on an 7 year old vech with 110 k not that much to worry about.

check all your ground straps at the frame and at the starter, loosen them up make sure clean metal then re tighten them

as above dp the trans service ,is it awd? these trans are kind of quirky at times sometimes when driving in city i can feel the trans search for which gear it wants sometimes a small hesitation in it if i am slowing down and then suddenly hit the gas,and sometimes going into park or drive might feel a small thump or bang as it had to much slack then caught gear.actually haven felt any of these in a long time but just some of the possibles quirks iv noticed, i have 93 k on my trans i had the fluid and filter done around 70 k as well

suddenly the brake sink. error code C10822f
2late4u replied to stormes's topic in Brake, Chassis & Suspension
well you have the option to take it to a brake repair shop that should be able to check it out and they usually will do it with without cost if you have it fixed by them they would probally be cheaper than the dealership -
have no idea
-
also size of which engine ? fwd or awd?
-
would have to say the dealership would be the best advice to find the correct bolts without having one in your hand to compare them, but after removing them send out for some from the local parts store
-
most systems do use some oil but since i an not a tech cant really answer just make sure you are using the right freon
-
let them know that you keep bringing it back for the same problem and that you are starting to think you have gotton a lemon and check out your lemon laws in your state, who paid for the different tires? keep up with the dealership and your timeline on what you are taking it back and what for,i think they are just hoping you will give up on getting it right till they tell you well its to late and to many miles for anything to be done

start with the battery first

jump start the car if possible then drive it straight to a parts store and let them do a load test on the battery, you most likely need a new battery it can test good like you are testing it with a meter but when it needs the full voltage the battery is dead under a full load...good luck
