as above dp the trans service ,is it awd? these trans are kind of quirky at times sometimes when driving in city i can feel the trans search for which gear it wants sometimes a small hesitation in it if i am slowing down and then suddenly hit the gas,and sometimes going into park or drive might feel a small thump or bang as it had to much slack then caught gear.actually haven felt any of these in a long time but just some of the possibles quirks iv noticed, i have 93 k on my trans i had the fluid and filter done around 70 k as well

suddenly the brake sink. error code C10822f
2late4u replied to stormes's topic in Brake, Chassis & Suspension
well you have the option to take it to a brake repair shop that should be able to check it out and they usually will do it with without cost if you have it fixed by them they would probally be cheaper than the dealership -
have no idea
-
also size of which engine ? fwd or awd?
-
would have to say the dealership would be the best advice to find the correct bolts without having one in your hand to compare them, but after removing them send out for some from the local parts store
-
most systems do use some oil but since i an not a tech cant really answer just make sure you are using the right freon
-
let them know that you keep bringing it back for the same problem and that you are starting to think you have gotton a lemon and check out your lemon laws in your state, who paid for the different tires? keep up with the dealership and your timeline on what you are taking it back and what for,i think they are just hoping you will give up on getting it right till they tell you well its to late and to many miles for anything to be done

start with the battery first

No power at all (2015 Dodge Journey 3.6 AWD)
2late4u replied to qlnaaa's topic in Engine & Transmission
jump start the car if possible then drive it straight to a parts store and let them do a load test on the battery, you most likely need a new battery it can test good like you are testing it with a meter but when it needs the full voltage the battery is dead under a full load...good luck -
well i googled what you said (exhaust pressure sensor on a Dodge journey 2009) and came up with a bunch of different things, first off GO TO A DEALERSHIP and at least they will be able to lead you to the right part or area of your search, you gave us no info on the problem, codes,or engine size or the correct name of the part you are looking for.could be as easy as a egr valve or many other things ...good luck
-
well to be honest sometimes the solution to the problem can be the simplest things you hate to ask, was actually thinking of the switch but didnt take the time to ask the question as some poster will get mad or act insulted by the question. glad everything is working like it should..good catch rolfe

2015 Journey no power at all. Zero.
2late4u replied to nes593's topic in Electrical, Battery & Charging
usually you have a little juice to let the lights go crazy or play the radio, but the first to suspect is the battery if oem then it is going on 4 yrs old, then next after a new battery if it does start i would have the alt checked to make sure it is charging, new cars suck the juice out of the batteries with all the electronic do-dads that they put on them now. thats why I said buy the best battery with the longest warranty as these are not the easiest to change. interstate is real good my daughter got one from cosco for her jeep the other day for around$100 ,i put in a Duracell 2 yrs ago from batteries and bulbs around $110 3 yr/7 yr check tur the forum section under batteries and charging post and read some of them to give you a heads up on what might can be wrong, there is also a battery temperature sensor that is built into the neg cable where it attaches to your battery post have been know to go bad....good luck and hope its just the battery -

probally the battery if you can get it started go to a part store have them do a load check,if not pull your battery and take it down and check it but i would buy a high quality battery and go from there i have already replaced my 14 crossroad battery, no luck with mopar battery -
i dont believe they will be covered under the power-train warranty, dont let confuse you with the max life mopar warranty as they would be covered under that warranty as you have to pay extra for that warranty
-
check amazon for the adjustable upper rear control arms about $100 each, also any part store has them or can order them, had 2 of them installed on my 14 crossroad for the camber problem they work great
-
actually i just clicked on it it shows one for a 2017 but none for the 2018 hmm i would contact them and ask about it

2012, 3.6 SXT which speed transmission 4 or 6 ?
2late4u replied to probak118's topic in Engine & Transmission
the biggest difference in trans service now days is the hook it up to a computer and going by the trans temp and other things determine how much fluid you will put in the dealership does have a tool you can buy about $25 from what iv heard and you can use your oil dipstick if you watch the you tube videos on how to measure and mark it to pre check where your fluid level is ...this would stop you from having to buy the dealership tool. i marked my oil stick with a small file just so i could keep an eye on the trans level, good luck and also use the proper atf fluid -
