  1. if any one really is worried about the condition of the trans oil but doesn't want to pay to have it serviced, just go too harbor freight or any parts store and buy you a oil pump (less than $10)then buy the required transmission oil and insert the hose down thur the dipstick tube for the trans and pump out one quart of oil and then replace with the new fluid, do this every oil change and it wont break the bank and is simple and takes less than 5 minutes, sure you are mixing new with old but at least you will be removing and adding new trans fluid i did this on my daughters caravan yrs ago as it had to many miles to do a complete trans service, as they say it might start slipping,, never had any problems with her trans and she used it on a mail route.
  2. sounds like you need to find a qualified transmission service place or dealership to check it out before serous problems happen good luck
  3. thats what happens when people post and then get it fixed and they never come back to post how it was fixed, seams like o heard some one saying this on Facebook but never heard back from them on what was the problem, i say take it back to the dealership and document your problem under warranty, you might want to check into a extended warranty just in case before your 3yr/36 k runs out www.chryslerwarrantydirect.com www.chryslerfactoryplans.com good luck
  4. depends where you live iv had both my 2011 had the 3 zone ( front and rear) loved it just my wife and i but i would turn the upper rear vents facing forward and it would help cool the back of my head, that said IF you live in a hot climate ( i live in al) or a real cold climate like Mich or Canada get the 3 zone for the passengers comfort and yours. i now have 2014 with just the dual didnt think of it before i bought it as it is a 5 seater instead of my old 7 seater, it is okay but on really hot days the journey is okay but would be a lot better with the 3 zone also the occasional passenger is a little uncomfortable for a bit till the front air makes it to them. long story short go for the 3 ZONE and you will be happier also the 3.6 eng but be warned with AWD you might have expensive repairs on the rear drive unit if it goes bad
  5. so why not take it back to the dealership you have a warranty
  6. not all connectors are used on every vehicle depends on what level of extras you have, base model vs r/t

  8. so was that the dealership or a transmission place that you had it fixed.....in case others want to know...
  9. had problems with my rear tires wearing on the inside as well,,, and it was the rear upper non-adj control arms that were bad i had aftermarket adjustable control arms installed and it solved the problem amazon has them for around 100 each and to install them is only 2 bolts each side but then you need a 4 wheel alignment done
  10. always thought if it went into limp mode it was more of a trans problem at least in my old caravan that is what happened when a sensor in the trans went
  11. welcome to the group, nice looking crossroad
  12. I just had a frt right side wheel speed sensor replaced, abs light and etc light on and cruise wont work if you have these lights on, no problems with my brake pedal or hard stopping. did you bleed all for brakes lines in the correct fashion? y sensor and labor at the dealership was around $65 i never removed the abs fuse pulled you shouldn't have to do this if a wheel speed senor goes bad as the brakes are suppose to revert to regular braking without the anti-skid of the abs...good luck
  13. maybe dodge cares could chime in on this subject, not sure on how to alert them here
  14. as i stated above the smaller brakes were upgraded to the larger ones in 2012, so your 2013 had to have the large pads and large calipers , simple to have them pull the vin # to see the correct parts and comparable to what they put on, going from large to smaller parts would have to involve changing to many extra parts of different sizes to have been done, and if they still insist they are right be nice and leave and go to a different dodge dealership and explain your problem and have them check it out.
  15. 2013 would have had the larger brakes as standard oem parts no way they could have used smaller parts as called out by the vin #..... must have been one expensive brake job changing all thoes parts using oem parts
  16. any dodge dealership can run your vin and tell you and show you what you have and what you dont have.....
  17. i dont have awd but he mentioned this...... You can use the vent tube but you can only add 2 oz. at a time until the trapped air in the PTU case is "burped" to allow the fluid to fill. Forcing the fluid with pressure will potentially create a leak path past one of the seals.
  18. this is a easy one go back and demand they put the larger brakes on... actually its hard to imagine that the smaller brakes would fit into the caliper and other bolt holes without replacing a whole lot of parts. something smells fishy here, good luck
  19. well at least the belt should be easy to get to now...LOL
  20. I agree with mechanical--idiot, always change the rotors makes the pads last a lot longer and then if the old ones are not bad have them turned and your ready to go the next time
  21. when you said the wipers acting up, that should not be intertwined with the cluster acting up?good luck and keep us informed what you find out for others to see
  22. first have your battery checked at your local part store have them do a load check, low batteries can cause crazy things to happen to the electronics, now since you said this has been going on for a month it could be your cluster going bad or maybe some loose wires behind it shorting out, hard to say for sure. good luck but get that battery checked first since its a free check
  23. easy to replace.on the front good luck
  24. if you know which one that would be great i found out the local part stores cant read abs codes they can only read engine check light codes, let us know what happens
