I agree. I don't love the strip necessarily. Love mountain biking near Blue Diamond. Lots of great off the strip stuff to do. Steel Panther always does play on the strip, so we invariably to there at least one night. The strip is a great place to people watch. Peace.

Vegas is bad ass!! Love that place! Lots of DJs. Mine fits in perfectly. My wife and I love to see steel panther shows at the House of Blues. Ahh, the memories. Peace.

Here's the whole video for anyone interested. Peace.

I hate cameras. I literally run away. My wife hates it. Here's a snap shot from a wave in El Salvador. Not the greatest, but you'll get an idea. Brian is what I go by in my real life. Peace.

I do. Certainly. I like to get the bugs off. Those things can really damage your paint if left to bake and react in the sun. I plan to keep my DJ for many years. I don't want the paint damaged if I can help it. Peace.

Kumhos would be good. I have the kumho KH21(I think) on my wife's ride and they have been perfect. I replaced my kumhos on my DJ with Continental DWS extreme. Not many miles yet but they have been good. They're all good. Rotate them and keep your DJ aligned and you'll be fine. Peace.

chrome out the black part of the crosshair?
redtomatoman replied to Billy Billy's topic in Accessories, Modifications
Ran across this again while on eBay. This is the grill cover for the DJ. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Blue-steel-front-grille-vent-hole-frame-trim-cover-for-2013-2014-Dodge-Journey-/161833203644?fits=Make%3ADodge%7CModel%3AJourney&hash=item25ae02b7bc&vxp=mtr Peace. -
I'm sorry Lawdog. I have no idea what you are going through. I can't imagine losing my wife. Stay strong for yourself and your family. Peace.

chrome out the black part of the crosshair?
redtomatoman replied to Billy Billy's topic in Accessories, Modifications
I've seen a blue insert for the black part of the crosshair grille on eBay. Why blue? No freaking clue. Maybe they make a chrome one too. Good luck. Peace. -
While I don't have this problem, I know my stereo will play until the driver's door is opened. In addition to the stereo, I would have the service folks look at the door. Maybe the door switch is defective. Does your dome lighting work when you open the door? Have you tried opening the passenger door after shutoff, what happens then? Good Luck. Keep up posted as to how this goes. Peace.

I asked a question. . . Some of this has been covered. My question has not been answered. SPECIFICALLY what brakes are best for the 2011 upgrade. I have 50K miles on the small OEM brakes, I'm not upgrading to the bigger OEM stuff. I threw out my thoughts for the upgrade, and I'm hoping for all the input I can get. If you have something to add here that I may not know, then please add it. I didn't, nor do I want to, read every past brake post. If you hate brake posts, just skip them. Thanks for the input so far. Peace.

I am thinking about upgrading my brakes to the EBC Stage 3 Kit with Greenstuff pads that fits the DJ. I am just trolling for suggestions and comments. I don't do brakes so I plan to take the parts to my local mechanic for installation. Please let me know your thoughts. Here is the address to the kit: http://ebcbrakes.com/product/s3-kits-greenstuff-6000-and-gd-rotors-truck-suv-type/ Peace.

What kind of the phone holder do you use in your DJ?
redtomatoman replied to Totemus's topic in Accessories, Modifications
My DJ has a small pocket on the side of the center console for a phone or small device. There's one on driver and passenger sides. Works well for me since I have Bluetooth and utilize my vehicle screen for Nav and music. I hope my next phone will allow text functionality though. Peace. -
Your calipers should be fine. I can see replacing the rotors, if needed, and pads, but I'd need some convincing that the calipers had failed. Get a second opinion. Good luck. Peace.

I found this on Paul's DIY site. I always forget about this site. Great! Any DJ owners should have this site in their favorites. Anyway, no confirmation but they look like they screw on. Will need to remove the panel or at least the grommet around the lock pin to replace. Hopefully the later will suffice. Peace.

It should be somewhere in the middle of Ontario and Mexico. We should be able to DRIVE our DJs there. I'd likely go, schedule permitting, if this was to happen. I think it'd fly in the face of these Mopar geeks (that seem to despise the DJ) if it got any media. We could contact Allpar. Or we could just show up at one of those Mopar shows as a DJ Gang! Ha! Peace.

I haven't even looked at them yet. Thinking about getting some of the colored aluminum billet door lock pins for the DJ. I'm thinking that they just unscrew. The billet pins screw on, but I'd like confirmation that the DJ pins work the same before I get after one just in case that is not how they are removed. I don't want to cause damage. TIA. Peace.

New magnaflow exhaust!!!!
redtomatoman replied to Cody Chornobey Powley's topic in Accessories, Modifications
Sounds great!! How does it sound inside the DJ? Is there any advantage to the Magnaflow over the stock exhaust? Peace. -
No Pan Am games. Just baseball, beers, and brats. Peace.

New 2010 Dodge Journey owner V6 3.5L
redtomatoman replied to Petra Martinez's topic in Owner Impressions
I often use the vent with the windows up (no a/c) with fan and only fresh air. Those who always use a/c may be surprised by how cool the outside air can keep your car if its lower than 80F outside. When it's hot I use the a/c. Also I think that windows down for in-town driving does NOT affect fuel economy. I almost always keep my windows up and often use just the vent. I use a/c when I'm uncomfortable. Just sayin' Peace. -
Try to figure out how to reproduce the miss and take it to the dealer for diagnosis. Maybe vacuum? Maybe computer? Maybe a/c compressor? With these DJs, there is so much going on. The electronics are mind boggling. Good luck. Peace.

Not sure what you mean. Do the RPMs change? Mine stay very constant during idle as far as I know. I think a dealer check is definitely needed. Peace.
