My 2011 R/T averages about 26mpg US on the highway. Everything is a series of tradeoffs. For extra horsepower, all vehicles trade some efficiency. That's a fact. I like the DJ's power when I need it. The trick is finding the perfect combination that suits you. The other trick is finding that perfect combination in a sea of confusing marketing. Car buying is not easy. Peace.

When I read this thread, I feel that the OP knows this is an old thread. His DJ is three years old as well. I have not had any mystery beeps in my 2011, but hopefully other '11 owners who have will chime in if a solution exists. Peace.

I have a six speaker setup in my DJ. I notice there are areas in the rear cargo area that look like they could be for speakers. Are they? Are there wires already existing? Just wondering. Peace.

I have been using the spray-on turtle wax after about every other wash and it works great. Just spray it on and wipe to a shine. Great stuff. I currently use the bottle of green cream turtle wax about every 6-8 months for regular waxing duties. Seems to do a good job. Is the Ice liquid supposed to be used in place of traditional wax or like the spray wax after washes? Your DJ looks great BTW. I really love the Mango color. I wish the R/T was available in Mango Tango for 2011. It was available for other trim lines, but not R/T. Anyway, I got the Cherry Pearl instead. It looks great too. Peace.

The fuel economy on my 2011 increased significantly after 8000 miles (12,800 km). I wouldn't do anything until after the engine is broken in and you have had a few warm months to really see what the score is. Also the winter formulation gasoline is not good for economy. I think I agree with your dealership's advise. Good Luck. Peace.

There is a software update for these symptoms, or similar symptoms. Had it applied to my 2011. Its fine now. Although, I find that my VR only works for the radio. Not the iPod. I wish it would work for the iPod. Phone commands are fine. No Nav commands work on the 2011. Peace.

Thanks Journeyman. Didn't use the Nav on the way home and my iPod worked fine. I guess it was an isolated iPod error. BUT, I have been noticing more dropped music when I play my iPod. In the past the little iPod skips were about every 30 mins, now they are more like every 15 mins. I was told in the past that these skips were some sort of cataloging error with the iPod classic, which is what I have. I have come to expect the errors, but I still hate them nonetheless. If my uconnect keeps acting up, I'll get the update. Peace.

I have been on a surf trip this past few days, so I have been using my Nav and iPod together. While using my Nav I saw the screen flicker for about 5 seconds then the iPod just stopped and pressing the iPod screen buttons had no effect. I was in traffic and the Nav was still working. I just switched to satellite. Haven't had a chance to check things out fully, but I will today. Just wondering if anyone has experienced this. Is there any new software upgrades for uconnect that I am unaware of? This may have been caused by an iPod error. Peace.

DRLs work. Thanks again Journeyman. 4 wheel alignment fixed the right side wander. The shudder is still there. Quite minor. I'm assuming its the tires from other's experiences. Not going to worry about it. Peace.

Thank you Journeyman. DRLs are finally functional. I can turn them on and off through the touchscreen. Love it. Not sure why you were able to do this and the service department at Melloy Dodge in Albuquerque couldn't accomplish it on two different occasions. Thank you again, sir. The shudder is quite minor but the pull is mildly annoying. Thanks to Journeyman's help, I will be at the dealer to activate my DRLs, I hope. I think I'll have them check the alignment mostly because I find the pulling tendency tiring. Besides, if somehow it is something else, warranty ends June of this year. Thanks for all the responses. Consumer Reports is lame. Think for yourself. I have had three trouble free years with my 2011. Go with your gut feeling. If you like the journey the best, get it. If not, get whichever you do. Its that simple. Peace.

I didn't know where to post these. I noticed a shudder between 55-65mph today. Not sure if its tires or something else. My kumhos have about 35k on them. My DJ is pulling slightly to the right so I think I'll have it aligned. Not sure if that will cure the shudder. I also noticed a rattling sound from the front passenger side at the front of the dash. I think it is the plastic piece that is under the wipers outside the windshield rattling from the wind. Any comments are welcome. Peace.

Can this be done for my 2011 as well? I have been to my dealer twice to activate my DRLs but they told me that some "hardware" is not physically in the vehicle and activation is not possible. They told me the same thing twice, so I wrote it off as not possible for my vehicle. Peace.

I have been on this forum since 2011, and I have seen folks complain of excessive oil consumption with the 3.5L engine. Oil consumption testing seems like a waste of time because dealers will say any oil consumption is normal. Keep it topped up, I think that's all you can do. Good luck. Peace.

I live in Gallup at the base of the mighty hogbacks. Interesting story. The only reason Gallup is even a town is because it is the only natural break in the hogbacks for the railroad to pass back in the late 1800's. Also a local source of coal helped secure the location. But I digress. . . Gallup is where I call home. Bought my DJ at Melloy in ABQ. Peace.

Huh. . . I learned something. I have always steered clear of sun roofs because of my fear of leaks. My wife's Saturn has been leak free since 2006 though. I think bad luck is the cause of most leaks nowadays. Peace.

Make sure the vendor will take vendor will take a return if it does not fit, but I believe that 11-14 are all the same. A quick call to a dealer parts department will get you the part numbers and you can compare. Peace.
