  1. You don't provide much info such as if you have phone buttons on your steering wheel. If you do then your DJ was equipped with BT for hands free operation. It should be as simple as "pairing" phone to radio.
  2. Have the battery load tested. It's a 2012 so may have been installed 2011 and batteries in Mopars typically last 4 - 6 years if you have a good one. When things get erratic that should be the first assumption.
  3. Press the TUNE and BROWSE controls at the same time and hold to reboot Radio/Uconnect.
  4. ESS or start stop FCA vehicles are equipped with a AGM battery and heavy duty starters . at least that's what my Jeep Cherokee has on the build sheet.
  5. They are working as designed. The DRL is supposed to turn off when the signal is used.
  6. No radio retains presets and nothing else but fault seems to disappear.
  7. You do realize that they have a "TIMED" function , in other words they shut off as part of the battery saver logic in the DJ.
  8. It could be as simple as disconnecting the battery at the Negative jumper point for 10 - 20 minutes to reboot the CanBus. Another point to check and clean the terminals at the TIPM (fuse box under the hood).
  9. This typically normal on the DJ it can be sometimes cured with work on the the gas evap system venting being replaced.
  10. Yes it is normal , the power steering pump draws the rpm down and the computer compensates to prevent stalling /rough idle.
  11. Try your second fob. If that fails disconnect negative battery post at jumper point for 10 - 20 minutes re-attach see if problem clears up.
  12. Yes 20L/100km is rotten mileage. It depends on several factors such as geography, temperature, vehicle weight and least but not last your driving style in any given traffic situation. AWD does worse than FWD as a rule.
  13. Have you tried disconnecting the DJ battery for 10 - 20 minutes? The same windshield washer motor is used for the front and rear windows they just reverse the rotation on the DC motor.
  14. This for 2010 3.5 L DJ. It would seem to me it must located at one end or the other of the hose going to the airbox.Try youtube
  15. Your check engine light being on solid is ok until you have the codes read , without the codes you have no clue where to start trouble shooting. As far as TPMS alerts first thing to do is bring all tires up to spec reading as posted on the label attached to drivers side door frame and try driving around , it may take 2 - 3 driving cycles.
  16. Is there any noise associated with the pushing of the button? It may be the door controller/solenoid , compare the sounds to the still operating passenger door as they should be the same.
  17. Unless they have changed it recently that cap covers the emergency release for the "Park locking solenoid".
  18. Laptop , desktop ,Samsung tablet and my Moto G!
  19. Dave have you watched the youtube video of a Trailhawk and a Wrangler doing serious offroad? It's posted over there and it does exactly the same trail as the Wrangler.
  20. Disconnecting the battery for 15 - 20 minutes resets the CanBus computer network which controls all the primary functions in the DJ , it may resolve electrical faults/gremlins but not always. A bad battery causes many weird faults on todays computer controlled vehicles that is why it should be load tested as part of fault finding particularly if you don't know how long it has been in service. If you goto FCA Chrysler website you can enter your VIN# and if there are recalls outstanding it may well tell you but a dealer must do the work irregardless.
  21. That is what is called "LIMP" mode. 2009 it may be just electrical with regards to battery or recall that has not been performed for 2009 models.

Welcome to the forum. Tell us about your DJ. What year is it? Is it the original battery and have you had it load tested? As for the German I have never seen such a problem posted .
