  1. I would suspect loose/poor adjustment of the switch located with in the rear hatch , I had that happen on Caravan I owned.
  2. Have you tried to reset the TIPM (computer) by disconnecting the car battery for 15 minutes?
  3. If the fob battery is weak or dead you will also get a message in the EVIC window. If you can't move the shifter from park to neutral then it definitely is the brake switch.
  4. Batteries don't leak rust so it must be poor drainage from the battery tray assy. If they have replaced the battery then it is ruled out as a source of dampness.
  5. Welcome to the forum. 3 things are involved in the start process that come to mind immediately 1.the brake switch mounted on the pedal assy. 2.the range selector neutral/park start position. 3.the fob not being recognized properly by computer. Have you tried starting it in neutral instead of park when this occurs?
  6. I took the easy way out. At first I tried to Gorilla Glue it but that lasted about a week. I ended up drilling 2 small holes through the plastic on either side of the steel capture bracket and used a heavy duty black cable tie wrap through the existing bracket hole and covered it with black tape patch. You can also fit a screw into the bracket if the plastic is sound enough.

    Welcome to the forum.
  11. There have been a number of posts about the passenger side plastic breaking already , mine did the 1st year so I modified the mount (plastic) and it has been ok .
  12. Welcome to the forum. Enjoy the DJ and if you search the forum you'll find the pros/cons for the CAI along with the solution by some innovative owners.
  13. Not speaking specifically to the 2015 the rear on previous model years was intermittent only.
  14. I wonder if GM thought it out with their wifi connected cars?
  15. This may not be the solution for the "stumble". When I bought my 2007 Caliber SXT 2.0L in 2006 I would notice that on acceleration from a stop there a "stumble/pause" on initial application of the gas pedal. Talking to a number of others on the Caliber forum many noticed the same thing. I found on the net an article regarding the "fly by wire throttle" setup associated with the Caliber and it stated you could re-calibrate the throttle to eliminate this problem , since I believe the DJ also is fly by wire this help. 1.Turn/set ignition to "RUN" but do not start. 2.Depress gas pedal slowly to floor while counting to 15. 3.Release gas pedal to full up/released position while counting to 15. 4.Turn the ignition to "OFF". 5.After waiting 5-10 minutes restart and see if "stumble/pause" is gone. Didn't work in all cases but a number of members said that it did make a difference.
  16. My slip up - I was one of the founding member of the Caliber Forumz and once in a while I regress.
