Oil changes are up to you and what ever you feel comfortable with from your past vehicle experiences failing that you should read the owners manual for guidance . If you don't have a manual you can download from Chrysler customer service website. The electronic alert built into your Journey takes in a lot of factors before it activates and those time periods vary in accordance with driving style and environment but you should not exceed the manuals recommendations.

That's right just lift straight up as it's supported/held in place with a ball and socket on 4 spots.

It's the same principle in the pic I posted in #8 , it guides high pressure lead edge "cold " air to the air intake.

I have never really looked for it but read a parts article on Pentastar that indicated it was right near the filter assy.

Software glitch I would think! Just like your desk/lap top sometimes they just don't boot up as intended. You turn it fully off let it sit for 10 minutes reboot and wala it must have been a glitch.

That is not normal!!! If the dealer you are working with won't fix it find another , take another DJ on their lot and see if it sounds like that I would bet money they don't.

Mine is almost 4 yrs old and absolutely no rust anywhere in Ontario winter road salt environment , as I stated previously sea water flood ravished write offs have filled the market place even ending up here for sale by fly by niters.
