  1. Tnx for reporting problem and resolution , that's the way the knowledge base grows.
  2. Very little without negative draw , see if the added noise is shown in better mpg.
  3. Probably cleaned/lubed the guide pins. Doesn't it state resolution on your copy of service order? Always get a copy with explanation/resolution procedure it comes in handy when resolving disputes in the future.
  4. So you went from cold air intake to a hot air intake.
  5. Maintenance is the key and not being afraid to spend a buck or two for parts when needed. My son just sold his companies 2004 Dodge Ram with 425,000 kilometers on it (looked like new) for $2,000 CAN.
  6. Sounds as if you have a hung up brake assembly or possibly something( i.e. a stone) in the caliper assy. It can clear itself or it may damage the rotor badly , I would have it looked at by someone who is qualified.
  7. A dealer can check your VIN# to see if all RRTs and recalls have been completed.
  8. There has been a reported problem with the axels not being torqued properly from the factory and causing drivability problems. You might suggest this to them.
  9. Well they are purpose built ! Not exactly streamlined .

Geez - been there. I had a '95 Cirrus that everyone aimed at , in 3 yrs it had $14,000 in repairs caused by someone else, totally annoyed the hell out of me.
  11. The volume for the phone is controlled by the radio volume control whether the radio is on or not so check that. Also check at Dodge.com regarding compatibility of the phones you are pairing.
  12. Check with Dodge.com regarding BT compatibility for your phone. They have a .pdf file that lists all that will work , BT version has been updated on later phones and may not work on 4.3 2011.

As Rolly said there are many of us.
  15. Condolences on your loss.
  16. Just something you might want to try. The 2.4L World Engine and the 4 speed were used in the Dodge Caliber while it was being built/sold , a programming trick that I discovered while owning one was as follows. 1.Put the ignition to RUN but DON'T start. 2.Counting to slowly to 10 depress the gas pedal slowly reaching fully depressed by 10. 3.Again counting to slowly release the gas pedal to full up/home position. 4.Turn ignition to OFF. 5.Wait 5 minutes start engine and see if power from stop has improved. This may do nothing but it worked on a number of Calibers equipped with engine/tranny. It was believe it set the learned acceleration pattern gas pedal calibration.
  17. Ha ha trade the DJ in on a Grand Caravan and see if they will throw in a vasectomy!! lol Oops! Maybe I should have said "vansectomy" !!!
  18. I think this would be a difficult/expensive change to make it like the pic. I would guess yanking the seat assy and dropping in a covered slab of plywood would get you more space but not the same as the purpose built floor pan of the 5 seater.
  19. Don't forget Pentastar is not transversly mounted in the Challenger , this could be a problem when cross adapting.
  20. Jim Smagata FYI all DJs are built in Mexico.
  21. You should see improvements between 4 - 5000 miles. Some of the improvements come from the tranny learning your driving style as for the motor with todays build technology they don't really need it. Change your oil and/or go to synthetic for more mpgs.
  22. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=18AWMq0rSN4 Here on youtube lots of how to do its.
