I ran OE Kuhmos for 3 winters with little or no problems. Winter driving is dependent on where you drive and how you drive , only you can be the deciding factor.

Anyone Have a problem with the car not starting?
bigtsr replied to ValP's topic in Engine & Transmission
Can they tell you if the wiring TSB for the '09 door loom has been completed? The wires in that loom would break and caused numerous electrical gremlins. Again the tranny gear selection switch causes these symptoms also and has to be replaced/repaired. -
Welcome to the forum. The brakes on the DJs were upgraded to larger size in very late 2012 so the '13 should be good to go. I haven't noted many posts about brake issues on the '13s.

This isn't cold - I worked for 4 years as tech on RCAF ground radar sites. Weeks of -40 with 50 kph winds.

The end caps have 3 tangs/clips on them , 1 at the contoured end and 1 each side of the end that covers the side rail. Squeeze the rail side inward and lift toward the contoured end.

The one thing that WeatherTech has that I don't believe Husky has is a clean up kit that refinishes that mats back to their original look - not cheap tho.

What he said ^^. Knock on wood!

Yea 1 speed doesn't cut here where I live on the Niagara Enscarpment. My oldest son is a bike freak and has a couple that ran in the 3 - 4000 dollar range.

My Javelin was white with red striping. Nice pic.

What got me was the fact that the darn thing was single speed no Shimano on this brute , I snapped this pic in the local WallyMart.

I've fallen victim to wheel thieves once, I had my '68 Javelin 290/280hp SST parked in my driveway when they stole all 4 2" chrome reversed rims. Cop woke me up 2am and asked if I knew my car was on cinder blocks, they caught the guy a block from my house.

Sorry to hear of the problem , could be defect in either tank filler neck or possibly the venting built into it. Dealer is the way to go - I would suggest you bring it in low on fuel and take service mgr/advisor to local gas station and show them.
-
I guess you still haven't looked too closely at your wheels. Wheel locks do what the name implies - try coming out in the morning and finding your DJ up on cinder blocks (if your lucky). Then try and buy those steel rims and new plastic covers for anywhere close to $200 apiece.

Welcome to the forum . DJ should be happy in that nice clean warm garage.

I guess you have worked thru the "honey do" list posted on the beer fridge.

Yes 87 octane @ 305 hp 298lbs torque. -
I experience the same results on hiway trips but really you should pat yourself on the back because economy has a lot to do with how you drive.

The Pentastar V6 (as in DJ) produces over 300 hp with a different intake and PCM tune in the Challenger. -
