  1. I guess it will be back to dealer and hopefully they won't noticed the oil change. Possibly you pulled a sensor lead off while under the hood.
  2. https://techauthorityonlinedemo.extra.chrysler.com/service/repair/wiring/view/classic.htm Check your wiring here.
  3. It has always been my understanding that a SUV is built on a truck chassis/frame where as a CUV is built on a car chassis. The DJ is on the Avenger chassis at this point however both the MOT(ministry of transport) and my insurance company list it as a truck on my paperwork. I don't care - it's what I drive!
  4. Good idea but that will probably be destroyed when he breaks the glass and drags you out by the scruff of your neck. lol
  5. Unless there was damage to the trans/engine there is always the built in trans-Park solenoid bypass which is built into the console.
  6. This is a FWD CUV that in stock form burns rubber as it is with the 283hp V6 - I would be driving a Challenger if I was really into it.
  7. Don't start just push the button - keep your foot off the brake.
  8. The blinker is an integral part of the dash circuit board. I have seen this problem before and if I recall correctly the cause in that case proved out to be a broken wire in the rear hatch wiring loom. Break is likely caused by opening/closing the hatch over a period of time. You could as a first effort disconnect the DJ battery at the negative jumper location for 10-15 minutes to see the TIPM when rebooted will clear the problem.
  9. Yes the above - WD40 and top grade dental floss do work also.
  10. The only model sold without "sunscreen tint" in Canada is the Canada Value Package. However if you check the actual windows out in bright sun you will see a slight UV tint to all glass used.
  11. This is the time to buy one with regards to value for dollar. Boxing Day (or should I say week) prices should get you a great unit at say Best Buy or similar sources.
  12. Holidays aside it really is a piss off when you personally experience the haphazard ,red taped and inefficient way public service contractors operate. Holiday stress doesn't help either?
  13. Block heater is on right side by the TIPM (fuse/power module) coiled up and twist tied.
  14. http://www.dodge.com/webselfservice/dodge/index.html?screenName=newVehicle&country=us&emailUrl=goToEmailForm%2528%2527R%2527%2529 Go to this site - goto left side "equipment listing" new screen enter your VIN and hit "search" it will give you the list of installed equipment on that vin when it was originally built.
  15. Yes on some earlier brands of tint film ammonia would have an effect on colorization.
  16. Definitely something not right with this happening. It certainly sound as though you have a wheel cylinder issue. Have you checked reserve? Have you tried topping it up?
  17. http://navrepair.com/collections/chrysler-gps-navigation Check this site out - it may help guide you.
  18. https://techauthorityonlinedemo.extra.chrysler.com/service/repair/wiring/view/classic.htm This is where to find all the wiring diagrams.
  19. Mirror wiring drivers door. Let me know if this helps.
  20. It clips onto/into the flow vanes of the vent with little hooked claws. I heated them up and reshaped for a more secure hold because that GPS (HTC Advantage 7501) is rather heavy.
  21. I had my Caliber done by Ziebart and after 5 years it looked as good as new, self installs are often a disaster.
  22. Sounds as if the rf module may have a glitch going on. I believe there is a reset procedure posted somewhere recall reading it. Not a normal thing for remote start mine still starts from at least 100 ft.
  23. If it weren't for bad luck you would have none at all !!!!!!!!! I know it doesn't help but Merry Christmas.
  24. Welcome aboard and indeed a very Merry Christmas.
  25. This is one I use on trips - fully adjustable.
