  1. Took the snowblower out to the top of the driveway this am and tuned it up, this is a ritual I do every year at this time just to piss the neighbors off. We as a rule don't get much snow in our area and have only had 3 seriously heavy snowfalls since 1975. All my fwd Mopars have coped well without snowtires.
  2. It should be checked for fault codes. I have never had the situation describe happen in many years of driving but if the engine quit running on the highway that's a serious problem.
  3. If it were me and in fact seemed to be not getting satisfaction I would demand they return YOUR vehicle to your care then test it myself. If you could duplicate the circumstance and results via video/eye witness it would be helpful. In your favour is the fact you have opened a case file with Chrysler, get the file number and if anything happens after they return it to you then you have solid case.
  4. Or the fob was within range of the passive sensor!
  5. Think he is referring to the "clunk". If so although not a incident on every DJ it is a known source of annoyance.
  6. I had the chill zone in my Caliber, take my word it was a sales gimmick and only kept previously cooled items cool longer. You had to turn the ac on except in the winter when of course the inlet air temp was equal to outside temp.
  7. Another known culprit are the active rust inhibiting modules that have become popular in the last few years =battery drain.
  8. Body Control Module perhaps - where do you leave your key fobs when not using the DJ?
  9. This was for regular all seasons 225/65/17 Michelin Defender. I don't use snow tires as I live in Burlington south core plus they have excellent snow removal, they even plow the sidewalks. I am retired and if it's that bad the DJ stays in the garage.
  10. I just put 4 new tires on out the door 725.00 at Active Green & Ross. They have offices in K-W area, free rotation every 10k/kms.
  11. They are all made in Mexico. He was talking about sales market destination as in TJ. Where is that??
  12. If it has a tach watch it as this happens. The "sounds as if revving up" would be verified.
  13. Dare I say Apple probably could care less about interfacing to any particular manufacturer.

    SatNav update

European map set maybe different sourced then NA. Do you have owners manual for 1-800 number? Possibly check Fiat websites for info.

    Cruise control

Could be a faulty clockspring (steering wheel controls) or a faulty speed sensor (wheel).
  16. You may have a TPMS receiver failure and not necessarily the in tire sensor assy. In past Chrysler there have been 2 receivers in the front and 1 for the rear tires I am not sure if this has changed on 2011 and up but the receivers should be reachable and the in tire sensor assy requires tire removal. Make sure you get the right frequency when replacing parts.
  17. If you read previous posts about this replacing the radio black box is the solution as a number of can verify.
  18. Snow !!!!!!! It depends on where you live/drive/distances travelled plus the snow clearing abilities/efforts in those areas. Needless to say we all think we are super capable drivers when comes to snow but if your honest with yourself that should solidify your choice and of course if your retired you can always stay home.
  19. Yes that's the way they are programmed for Canadian market. Really not set up for cruisin' and lookin' cool.
  20. The fact that the headers in the Pentastar [regardless of which the engine orientation is used] are included in the head itself restricts what can be done with the exhaust, most of the hp is developed by intake and tune variations.
  21. Words nothing but marketing words! Call it what you will it still is based on a car chassis.
