  1. On my 2011 if the battery in the fob is weak it says in the EVIC "fob battery low".
  2. How old is the battery? Could be the gear range selector. Try using neutral when starting.
  3. Yes rears are typically smaller than the fronts. Most of the brake load is carried by front assys.
  4. These vehicles (almost all made anywhere) are painted by robots programmed to the task. Therefore "X" amount of electrostatic paint is applied to each and every body coming down the line in theory. They paint 2 bodies in the same booth at the same time 2 different colours without so much as a speck of either colour ending up on the wrong body. My niece is a final inspection worker at the Chrysler minivan plant in Windsor Ontario and says they very few incidents of poor paints application. Yours maybe an exception or it was polished out at final inpection.
  5. No DRLs don't work on 2014 - 2015 in the US unless you bought with that option from factory. FYI DRLs are only on when gear select is in Drive (123456) they don't work in Park or Neutral. The intermittent electrical could be a poor connection at the TIPM (fuse box) under the hood, just not properly connected when built.
  6. On the leather shifter in the '11 you pry the chrome(shiny) part downwards as it is a lock ring for the knob. Then pull up and do watch your teeth and that expensive Uconnect mirror.

    Newbie

Yes that is a viable upload format.
  8. According to a previous post the Chrysler RB5 radio will give you what you want, Try auto scrap yards for the parts and use Google to search the net.
  9. According to Mopar website the RE2 is Uconnect capable as it comes. Do you have the the owners manual On the steering wheel do you have the telephone symbol? I don't believe the RE2 has NAV. Goto settings and pair your phone with radio if you can do that then Uconnect is there.
  10. First that I have seen posted regarding rear suspension problem. I would think it's best to follow thru with Dodge dealer with regards as to covered or not. If it is not covered I would replace parts with MOOG suspension replacements.
  11. Sounds as if the BCM (body control module) is remaining active , could be as simple as a software reflash. Don't leave your keyfob to close to the car as this can also keep BCM active.
  12. No - added horsepower is from intake differences and propriety software set to different models that use the Pentastar , the Challenger version produces 305 hp.
  13. Dealership is the only solution as this has been posted before and in several cases it required replacement of the radio. You might try disconnecting battery or pulling radio fuse first to reboot CanBus system.
  14. Yes the only place with the life size statue of Gene Simmons wife Shannon, a real Regina girl.
  15. Yes at Chrylser dealership is where I have always received the card and this time 2 keychains with the number on them. In all the years I have owned new Mopars I always got it and have only used once since 1984. They were prompt and courteous.
  16. By the way you will find there is a time limit it will stay in accessory mode to protect from draining the car battery.
  17. What phone? Have you checked Uconnect campatibilty list?
  18. I and my son made trek down to New Hamburg Ontario from Burlington yesterday to attend the annual MOPARFEST gathering and despite the intermittent light rain it is again the largest in the country with about 1200 cars - having said that we used expressway and rural roads for 377 km and averaged by EVIC and hand calc 9.2 l/100km at speeds between 50 to 120 km per hour.
  19. Not enough torque in drive system to move you and seat could be slippage of reverse gear on drive shaft or check seat glide path for obstruction from the rear seat.
  20. Does it start more readily in Park or Neutral? If this is the case it could also be tranny gear gear/range selector switch.
  21. I have an opinion with regards to DodgeCares (US) and it's only my opinion mind you. Firstly if I am right the position is being held at the moment by a competent female employee if you follow the progression in the posts from the beginning of the original posts and her name appears to be Regina. I would say she likely does not own a DJ therefore can only represent what she was shown/instructed to do within the framework of customer service policy. I think she inherited the job and is dealing with it as just that by making an honest effort.
  22. If you have only the 4.3 screen then pushing the phone handset emblem allows you to say the name of the person/place exactly as entered in your cells phonebook/contact listing. Having said that it's worth noting that ambient noise plays havoc with any of these voice operated systems and clear diction/speaking is a definite requirement along with contact names which are short and precise.
