I don't believe that a reprogram should be necessary under normal circumstances. How old is the car battery? Have you tried resetting the TIPM/system by disconnecting the car battery for 15-20 minutes?
-
The metric readout for the EVIC in the DJ is set to readout L/100 kms hence the reason most people use that measure.
-
Could be the spare tire itself or road debris caught between the spare and bottom of rear floor.

No the part that actually holds the carpet in place at door entrance is what I was referring to,my '11 has it and I have had it off. I'm sure that is what OP was referring to.

Where I can get journey 2013 repair manual?
bigtsr replied to jojogg's topic in Articles, News & Reviews
I don't believe your going to find any freebie manuals other than parts anywhere,if you do let us know about it. You have remove the WHOLE 1/4 panel of plastic unless you can just pry out the rear section to connect to 12 vdc outlet which means sensors will be on whenever DJ is running/acc. -
Before any monies are spent on resolving your problem the first and basic thing to do is reset the TIPM. Disconnect the car battery and let system discharge residual voltage potential set on the CanBus (may take 10-20 min). Reconnect and check to see if problem cleared. On the Mopar computer intensive system one glitch does a lot of wierd things. Again this may be related to wiring as it's a 2009.

He's referring to the sill step plate. It's held on by plastic clips most likely broken off by previous owner hence the screws. Should be able to order new one from Mopar.

Yes it happens on mine too. Less noticeable the madder I am when I hit and hold it. lol

I live on a small crescent street and we have 3 on the street not unusual to see multiple DJs while driving in town.
-
Good likely reason if I had that option-but I don't!!

Homely little thing that went like snot and couldn't keep drive belts on it!

Must admit I too have had some weird occurences of chimes and dash lites flashing. Usually it happens if I don't get right in and start the DJ after doing things such as loading stuff into the hatch or 2nd row. This has happened only about 5-10 times so I have ignored it and really am not concerned about as it starts and runs with nothing else happening.

Glad to see a resolution, some dealers are notorious for quick grab when the problem is a warranty item-especially with women.

Yes the tranny is on the drivers side, not sure with regards to 4wd bits and pieces. Dealer visit time???

U no connect
bigtsr replied to MKinSoCal's topic in Audio, Infotainment Navigation, MyGig, UConnect, etc.
The other thought is possibly there are 2 settings for bluetooth, one turns it on and the other turns on "discovery mode" for a fixed period of time during which you have to accomplish the pairing. That is the way my HTC works. -
Possibly your right about transfer case. Have you checked the top of engine for oil? Oil filter case leak or poor install of fresh oil during change with oil sitting and becoming contaminated!!

U no connect

I had same message with my HTC incredible then decided to not use suggested pairing codes. I used 2003 as code and it paired first time. -
First things first!!!!!!!!! What color is the leaking fluid? If it's clear non oily does it past a taste test?
-
does the centre of your wheel where your horn is viberate ? like bounce a little while you are driving down the highway No mine does not do this. Could be bad front rotors.
-
Yes I would say it is caused by something such as a ring. No sign of it on my '11 SXT. Does your better half drive it and and wear rings?

Missing compass from 2013 RT
bigtsr replied to ZedNZ's topic in Audio, Infotainment Navigation, MyGig, UConnect, etc.
The module is located above the headliner in the cargo area. There is a warning in the literature about using magnetic antenna mounts in that area as it will mess up the compass. -
I run 264 kpa (38 psi) year round with no problems. Remember kpa increment is 7 or about 1 psi so 268 could in reality be 261 kpa.

TIPM = Totally Integrated Power Module It's the box under the hood with the fuses in it. It is another computer with the ability to switch different modules on/off on demand.
