  1. My 87 LeBaron was the last time I replaced any exhaust part on any Chrysler product I have owned.
  2. When I first read your post I thought "what about second long press on lock with fob" but after trying it the answer is not availiable. Mine also has antipinch feature.
  3. If you upgrade here in NA how is the upgrade delivered CD or SD card?
  4. Good on the SXT probably exactly the same as mine with the exception of the scuff plates and stone guard. Canadian made wife to boot-hope you stay happy with both-lol!
  5. It would seem to be some form of injection molded hard plastic. I like them as they make cleaning a simple task, the only thing you might want to insure is that you order the ones with 2 floor hook holes as the DJ and presumably the Freemount now use 2. I wanted them before the 2 hole was sold so I just moved the hook closest to the door over,a simple task once you look at its design. You might want to check out Husky Liners also if they are availiable in your market area as they are also very good although I am not sure they are availiable in any colour other than black.
  6. I have seen pics of the tan mats and I would imagine the the contrast against the black carpet would be nice. I have the black WeatherTechs as my upholstry is black they clean up really well and so far no scrathing on the surface.
  7. Welcome to the forum! Hope you enjoy your DJ as much as the majority of us have. Marketing stratergies/options vary in different countries so what options do you have on yours.
  8. Hi Luciano glad you joined the crowd. Amazing how these marketing wizards go about confusing the consumer with their choices of who gets what. Enjoy your Freemont!
  9. My DJ mpg has improved slightly since it turned the 8000 km (5000 mile) mark on the odometer. Ricky Cheung driving mainly city in Vancouver won't give you the best especially if you do the commute with high idle times.
  10. There are 2 release points on the second row headrests 1 on each post base and the one is well hidden in the plastic base but it's there.
  11. Mine works with doors locked or unlocked I wasn't sure about unlocked but just tried it in the garage.
  12. The MY 11-12 come with what appears to be a 3M type product placed on the rear flare out area to protect from stones. Possibly check the web for this type of protective tape or see if it's availiable at body repair suppliers.
  13. Yes that's how my remote works regarding the windows down process, I've only used it twice but it works.
  14. I stopped at a traffic light last Thursday and was in the company of 4 other DJs of various configuerations, there isn't a day goes by that I don't see 2-3---almost as bad as the 5yrs I drove my Dodge Caliber.
  15. The dealer should good on the damaged rims if he does find another dealer for sure. The vibration could be the exhuast system reaching resonance and touching something in its path such as a heatshield etc.
  16. My 2nd rotary switch works as described dimming both the cupholders and front door map pocket lights.
  17. I have always filled to 2 lbs more than door sticker recommends and have found better mpg and prolonged tire wear.
  18. Yes that's the only problem with stand alone units I have to remember to hide it when I get out. The one I use when I need it is HTC 7501 and it does connect with stand alone BT camera so it's really multipurpose.
  19. This past weekend I was in Windsor/Detroit and when I left filled up and had the best mpg to date. The winds at our back cruising non stop the evic read out 7.3 liters/100km.(32 mpg US) When I filled up reset evic it read 59 L/100km 728 km DTE by the time Ihad driven 33 km on the 401 xpway on cruise at 104 km/hr (65 mph). Summer gas+lightfoot+windage may account for it but I am happy.
  20. Your more than welcome Robert everyone here has an opinion or experience to be shared.
  21. The small square conceals a threaded hole for an eye bolt, This has been Euro standard for years. If you look closely there is another on the back bumper (mine does) plus a very large vertically mounted eyelet in the rear. My daughter recently got a Mazda CX5 and they even provide the eye bolts that screw into those spots. Again maybe for towng or assy line not positive on original intent.
  22. I am not sure what the difference is between Euro and Canadian drls could you explain what makes them differ.
  23. Husky liners sells one for the 11-12 DJ try here; http://www.actiontrucks.com/estore.php
  24. That would be a plausible explanation if they were not all built in the same facility in Mexico.
