clunking noise in front end on bumpy roads

Generally car manufacturers only post tsbs to their dealers, so unless you know an employee they only become general knowledge when applied thru the course of customer relations. Of course recalls are safety related and can be sourced via dealer/vin #. -

I have the metal wallet also, easy to carry and protects you cards with built in RFI chips from being swept. To each his own , the only thing is you if you carry cash for whatever reason you have to fold the bills to fit them in so now I only carry 100's.

Perhaps a black tire iron as a friend of mine did. Went from right front tire thru oil pan jammed the crankshaft and destroyed his Camaro Z with 1400 miles on it.

I realize this is easy for me to say BUT before you give up on the manufacturer try another dealer because that's all they are "franchised dealers". There can be a world of difference in response or care given between any 2 of these sales/service points be they a block or 100 miles apart.

Well if your still under 100,000 kms with a 2012 it should be covered under powertrain warranty. There were posts about the rear seal failing and losing lube.

I would think that the easiest way to obtain a list of what features are availiable in your country would be to go to a dealer and ask for it.

European export models have different features and capabilities than their NA counterparts , marketing and different standards.

I have never seen it on my '11 SXT fwd. Seriously why would you not have it checked at a dealer?

My insurance co calls my journey a Sport Wagon , not cuv or suv

My insurance card lists it as "Dodge Journey Truck". -
Common problem with the " T " connecter , much posted.

"Resetting the MPG value doesn't make any difference to the calculation." That's not what I was referring to , it's just that if you reset the value the incremental change in the DTE takes a longer period of driving to reflect better number. The DTE quickly reflects poor driving habits.
-
DTE is a direct reflection of your previous tank full of mpg. If your mpg has dropped then DTE drops , the only way you can cause the way the algorithm figures this out is to reset the MPG reading every time you fill up.

Sounds as if the brake switch is out of adjustment. When this is happening can you move the gear shift from Park to Neutral without stepping on the brake pedal?

Store anti theft alarms
bigtsr replied to hockey_puck's topic in Alarms, Keyless Entry, Key Fobs, Locks & Remote Start
Never tried that , but I was able to set off car alarms with a uhf transceiver I had installed in mobile , fun watching people charging out to see who was stealing their wheels. -
Strange happening , my DJ has been thru 4 central Ontario winters (GTA) and has little or no rust any where like that , ask the dealer maybe they're poor quality batch.

My dodge journey suddenly turn off while driving
bigtsr replied to ha_em's topic in Electrical, Battery & Charging
The passive locking/unlocking and auto locking are all set in the menu system via the radio/Uconnect they may have changed try to reset them. I don't understand/know what cables they would touch in the "trunk" NA versions don't have any of consequence in that area , they are under the hood. They should clean and tighten all battery connections they are possibly corroded from environmental factors.
