Own a 2010 journey and want to buy the aftermarket ucconnect kit. The main question is, that in the descriptions of the product, it states that installation may include a trip to the dealer to activate the ucconnect after installation.
Does anyone have any experience with this?
I thought since the radio has the buutons already installed that the aftermarket kit would be a plug and play type deal.
If a trip to the stealership is required, that may dampen my decision.
