I don't really have a good relation with my dealer. They've done a few shady things and didn't quite hold up to their word. Is there a way to check this with my VIN without having to go to my dealer until I know for sure I'm covered? I don't trust them to tell me the truth.

My 2012 AWD developed a ticking/knocking at 185K/km and I assumed the engine was dead. I was so upset I parked it 6 months ago and been driving my van ever since. Is it possible my model is affected by this warranty? I miss driving my R/T

Unfortunately I'm just over 150k now, no more warranty

I've just started hearing grinding noise and clunking from the rear of my 2012 DJ R/T. The grinding happens when accelerating from stop and more when turning from a stop. The clunking happens when starting/stopping at slower speeds. Is my rear diff done for? What's an avg cost for a repair/replacement?

A tank not being full should only give you less mileage per tank, not increase the rate in which the fuel burns

87 is all the DJs need now, used to be 89 for the 3.5L, but I prefer not to use ethanol which I can only find in 91 octane (at non-sunoco/Petro convert. stations)

Just put my 19 inch Kumo's Solus 3 season tires and rims back on tonight, what a difference compared to my 17 inch winters. Turns are tighter, much less road noise, and driving feels very smooth (except of course the lower profile tires feeling the bumps a little harder) No complaints about my Kumo's so far.

I've noticed what seems to be the same sound described in mine for the first little bit when starting. It was only during the first start up in the morning after a really cold night, ~-20C and colder. Haven't heard it for a while now since the weather has been warming.

Plastic covers = no Chrome wheels in winter = no no $500+ for covers = no no no Just my 2 cents. I don't like chrome, and only use steal wheels in winter. To each their own.

I've ran pretty low and have been able to put about 73.5 litres in my tank. I did also keep pumping past the first click of the gas pump trying to round out to an even $$ amount. I hate that the DTE only shows "Low Fuel" after I drop below 50km, although I did manage to see it in the 30s once but I think that was because I was close to 50 and then drove a little hard dropping the fuel faster than the computer refreshed. Either way I'd rather see a number till the end rather than "Low Fuel", but I guess its a safety design to scare you to the station before its too late.

Adjusting back up camera angle

Hopefully its just some loose screws/hardware. I would suggest bringing it back to the dealer and have them correct it under warranty. -
Mine will leak one or two very small drops going through nearly any Shell Touchless car wash. Never had a leak with Petro or Canadian Tire touchless washes. It is just a rubber seal after all, and I think the close position of the Shell washer jets is just a little much for one seal to handle. It has never leaked in rain or during any other natural weather conditions.

I understand the want for a turbo, and if you bought used I understand having to take the 2.4L and want to add power later. However, if you bought new, why not throw the extra $$ and get the V6. Same power as the SRT4 turbo with warranty and no hassle. Either way, good luck on the turbo hunt. Now, a turbo on the 3.6L would be something. Love to see this thing around 400hp.

Uconnect Voice Commands..

I personally don't care for the VC for NAV, it rarely finds the place I'm asking for. Is there a Canadian translation update somewhere? -
Might have just been summer wash instead of water. On a side note, you would think that during a long road trip the engine heat under the hood would have thawed the front lines at least.

Don't think Canada has that same law.

Did that include the Tow Prep Package too?

Just having fun guys and gals, I've had my share of bumps and scratches too.

I'm sensing a theme here, in both cases a women was driving

I think the dealer has to have them on the factory ones, because its in the factory options list. As for not getting them on the second set, thats you're choice. I didn't get them in mine. I went with Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice WRT on and they are great. Had a bad night recently with a lot of blowing snow and ice on the roads, still manage good traction on the highway, not one slippage. 2011s don't have the larger front brake calipers. They are only introduce half way through the 2012 model year, so around spring 2012.
-
No way, sorry to hear that.

Not sure if people are reading older posts or not, but if you're looking for steel rims to fit around the larger calipers the only part number you need to know is X44753. It clears with no touching problems at all. Its a part sold at Canadian Tire, Costco, and most any other tire shop. This is the recommended rim for the models that came with the larger front brake calipers that were introduced mid way through the 2012 production. There is no need for any fancy spacers or custom ordered rims. I currently have this on my DJ and they are working great.

Given the clearance with the 17s, I don't like 16s would be a good option.
