Is it wierd that I've read this thing cover to cover, twice, and I don't even own a Journey? LOL
-
Good to know. I don't remember how they were setup on the Journey's I drove.
-
I test drove a couple of Journey's and experienced a helicopter like sound when the back windows were opened. It was killer on the ears! Now that I downloaded the manual, they actually have a section on it called "wind buffeting". Interesting, just have to break the wind pattern by opening another window (which we already knew). We actually thought it was the roof rack that was causing the problem And, I just figured out why we couldn't put in a CD. I guess it was a 6 disc changer and I didn't push the LOAD button then put the disc in. Sheesh!

But where does this -2800 come from?
-
Ahh I see it. Why change the name! Everyone knows it as Build & Price. Sheesh

New website at dodge.ca, no more build and price or am I blind?

*****I'VE GOT MY VIN**********

Generally (of course I have no backup information for this) a cop won't pull you over for just darkly tinted windows. If he pulls you over for something else (like broken tail light etc) then he might throw the book at you and ticket you for anything else he can find. -
GOT THE FULLY LOADED BLUE BEAST TODAY

Yeah, I don't think they'll find me what I want: SXT, Blue, DVD, Nav, Flex seating, Cold weather, Conv I. I have yet to pitch the dealers against each other yet. My current lease dealer suggests I wait till next month when there's a pull ahead. Oddly though, she's keeps on trying to sell me on the Grand Caravan again... -

Do you mind mentioning who the dealer is? There's maybe 4 Journey's here in town, and they only want to give me $1000 off (plus I have to order) -
Hey In discussion with a dealer here, he said they require a $2500 deposit if I decide to order (ie build) my Journey. Is that pretty typical for vehicles not currently on their lot? What really burns me is that no one here has a vehicle near the configuration the way I want. Specially, no one has the 3rd row. Not as much of a big deal, but they also do not have anything in the 2009 blue colour. Anyone else run into this? Obviously I get the deposit back upon acceptance of the vehicle. If I say I don't want it, they keep their $2500 and sell the vehicle to the next buyer. Thanks! Brad

It's defenitly a large spot, but I guess it depends on how you drive. I use my mirrors exclusively, as I find it allows me to keep my focus on the road ahead, instead of turning around. I use the side mirrors and rear-view.

Oh yeah, and he quoted me $29 795 for: SXT FWD Entertainment Group 2 Video Group 1 Flexible Seating Group worked out to be 530/month, 36 month lease

Hey - I test drove an R/T (it's all they had on the lot). It had 2 rows. I'm looking at an SXT with 3 rows. Anyone have a 3 row Journey with kids? My youngest (2 years old) can kick the back of my seat. That's how close they are. In my current Grand Caravan, he can't reach the seat. The sales guy said with the 3rd row, the 2nd row can move back about 2 inch. Also, the test vehicle had a roof rack. We opened the back windows, and the sound was deafning! It was so loud it made my ears hurt. It only equilized the noise once I opened the front windows. The blind spot in the drivers side is massive. You basically have to use your side mirror to look behind you. That's OK for me because I use the mirrors exclusively. It was a mixed bag test drive. I liked how it drove, but wasn't blown away. Anyone else have these feelings when they first drove it? Thanks, Brad
