  1. Really the tires are not a big deal, all you do is go from 225 to a 235 when you replace them. Price them on Tire rack, not much difference between the 17 and 19 price wise. IMO they look and handle way better with the 19s. Get the one you want, in the long term, you'll enjoy it more. And if you get the R/T it will have the bigger brakes, which is really nice.
  2. Yeah not much of a leak to loose that amount of fluid. As for vent, if you order a new tcase, comes with new vent. Somewhere in 2010 they switched to new style vent.
  3. It would be interesting if we did hear from any Dodge Journey owners that have bought one of these chips to inform us if the claims of better gas mileage are true, Do you really think if it was that easy, Car companies wouldn't do it themselves?? A fool and his money are soon parted as the saying goes. I can't beleive people still fall for this crap.
  4. You'll love it, 11-12s are SO much nicer than the 09-10s. Get the 8in screen?
  5. No I'm a tech, so I know what they are are doing. Fooling the air temp sensor will do nothing. If it was that simple, the OE builder would do it.
  6. Its just a spot i loaded a few pics, ignore the volvo one. No they all have 5/100 PT warr. unless you buy a goldplan. Manual says to change at like 110k if I remember right. I'm going to keep an eye on the condition of mine, first time will prob get changed at 20k or so. Always gets dark first time quick due to wear in.
  7. Mobil 1 is good, I use it in all my cars
  8. Yes haven't seen any issues with water , with new vent.
  9. What codes were in it for the engine light being on?
  10. This was an 09 or 10 we just did at work. 95k on it They had oil changes at a quick lube joint, and they never mentioned the leak at the tcase. It ran low and BOOM. They only hold .8 of a L The pic of the vent is the old style, now updated to long rubber one, that is looped up into engine bay. Old style can draw in water under certain conditions, heavy rain, etc. I would VERY STRONGLY rec you change the fluid every 40k Klms as these are hard on tcases . 11. I wouldn't use that, i'm sure you'll find it doesn't meet the Chrysler approvals.
  12. What is the error eliminator for? Keeps them from flickering, and not starting. Also keeps any codes from showing, not that that matters reaally. Did you order both 9006 (low's) and 9005 (high beam) kits? No only lows. Can't shut DRLs off, so they won't work with lower DRL voltage when they are on. Do you think the 4500k will match the fog light color you bought in another thread? Thanks. Should be close I hope. Should atleast be alot closer.
  13. I used these guys, have bought stuff from them before, never any problems so far. http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/DDM-HID-Kit-Slim-Ballast-35W-or-55W Went with a 35w 4500k kit, with the 'error eliminator". Nice easy install on these cars, everything easy to reach.
  14. I saw those , they look nice! Don't think they'll fit 11-12s though :-( Spent alot of time looking for bulbs, so hopefully, these will look good.
