Nice deal, so how much did you end up paying if you don't mind me asking?

Happy as a pig in slop... after one whole day!!

That's a great deal you got! Out 2012 DJ Crew with everything but rear entertainment and 8" uconnect was $25k plus taxes/fees. -
Wow, that is freaking horrible mileage! I'd be interested to see if the spark plugs are fuel soaked or if it's running really rich. What kind of highway mileage do you get?
-
Was the bucking occurring before you had replaced the spark plugs or done the tuneup yourself? How many miles are on it?
-
Daily towing?! Well yeah, that would obviously wear your tires faster...depending on how much weight you're hauling!

Aren't you lucky. All I get is constant letters asking for more money to buy the extended warranty packages. No thank you!

Don't get played by electric superchargers. They've been myth busted many times. It's a big scam/joke.

Nice, you lucky duck. I wish I knew the schedule of the street view car so I could do some crazy shenangins when it came by my house!

09 R/T vs 12 SXT

It'll be gutless in the 4. I haven't heard anyone on this forum say that they love the 4 cylinder and would never want the 6. There's no point to the 4, except that it's a slightly lower purchase price. Gas mileage seems to be the same between both engines...yet you get almost 100 extra HP in the 6. -
Does the DJ manual say to flush or drain the transmission? I don't know how to read the manual

I always join a forum and research everything before buying a new/used vehicle. It's the best way to gather REAL research data. Can't trust consumer reports or any other crap out there that "independantly" review vehicles.

Couldn't have said it better. ANYTHING other than oem is an upgrade on this vehicle. I went with the Calahan set for all 4 corners (sold on Amazon, under $200) and was pleasantly surprised at the quality. Normally I would stray from a cheap kit like that, but 40k miles later and still issue free. They work awesome, don't warp, don't make any noise, and are wearing nice and slow. I'd expect to easily get another 40k miles out of them. And my wife is pretty hard on the brakes... http://www.amazon.com/Callahan-Premium-Ceramic-Brake-CK002564/dp/B00E1SNKB8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1421367818&sr=8-1&keywords=callahan+dodge+journey+brakes

It is annoying. Especially on long road trips when the wife has to unbuckle to help the kids in the back with something for a couple minutes. Constant dinging...

Just look around in this tire section. There's lots of reports of what fits and doesn't fit.

Oh somehow I missed that. I still don't understand how that could occur. I guess I'll still take my chances. Seemings how my vehicle never sees snow, rust, or corrosion being in California. I never understood how people get into spins and accidents due to a tire blowout. I've had a couple blowouts on past vehicles (super old tires, both literally exploded and shredded to pieces). No big deal, the tire pops and you pull over to the shoulder. Both happened at highway speeds, one in the front one in the rear at different times. The vehicle was still easily controllable in both cases.

I would disagree with replacing the TPMS with each tire change. It's unnecessary unless one of them stops working or starts to leak. They aren't going to cause you to have a blowout or anything dangerous. Plus I think it was about $100 extra to change TPMS last time I had tires replaced. Which is costly compare to $5-$10 valve stems. I'm almost at 80k miles and still on the original TPMS. I'll be getting new (3rd set) tires soon and don't plan to change TPMS. If there's a problem in the future, I'll replace the one corner that had the problem.
