  1. So what do gas pumps use in the US, US gallons? Where are Imperial gallons used? Stupid question I know...
  2. Wait, 72 liters is 19 gallons right? Seems like the light should've come on a bit earlier...
  3. No problems with mine either. Rolling on 25k miles and they don't even appear half way worn down! I'm pleased with that!
  4. Ditto that. I freaking hate the plastic chrome hubcaps. I'm thinking of trying plastidip on mine. To a nice gray/gunmetal color.
  5. Now have you been nursing the throttle before the new air filter too? If not, then the difference in mileage could be due to you taking it easy on the gas... Do you have the 3.6L engine?
  6. I would've just replaced the brakes myself with quality parts for a couple hundred bucks. But then again, my payment is only $350 per month with a 2% 5 year loan. How the freak did you pay $640 a month!!!! I would expect that from a BMW, but not a Journey!
  7. Don't waste your time at a dealer...first just check if it's a loose screw. Pretty simple 30 second check (instead of hours waiting at a dealer).
  8. I use the costco car wash and that thing has some water/air dry pressure. I've never had a sunroof leak.
  9. Because 4k miles is when the first oil indicator light comes on (search around, it's the same for everyone). I guess it's different for everybody depending on your driving style. We drive nearly 30k miles per year, so we'll be at 120k miles in probably 3 more years. That seems perfectly reasonable to me for a tranny flush. I agree though, I would never wait 12 years to change out the same old fluid. My bad, I wasn't aware you guys put so low of miles on the vehicle. We buy vehicles to drive them to the ground . If I drove that low of miles, I would probably change my oil earlier than 8k miles too. I wouldn't want the same engine oil in there the whole year. I'd change it at least twice per year.
  10. Why do you think Dodge puts out a maintenance schedule in the owners manual? It's because they've tested it and they know when fluids should be changed. Just stick to the manual you guys. I think Dodge knows what they're doing when they recommend fluid change schedules. Engines nowadays are much better off than engines of the past. JUST STICK TO THE OWNERS MANUAL. But then again, you can change fluids early and waste the money if you want; it's not my money. I did my first oil change at 4k and 8k, and then ever 8k miles after that. That's when the oil change indicator comes on. Haven't touched any other fluids yet because the manual and dealer doesn't say too.
  11. Looks good (although a little too blue for my taste). How is the cutoff line? Did you have to adjust the headlight beam up or down at all?
  12. Our sunroof has never leaked. Sounds like the dealer is trying to put off doing work (sounds about right for dealerships)...
  13. Thanks for the info. I'll mention the STAR number when I schedule a service visit. Thanks.
  14. Is there any way you can link the details of this STAR case here? I'd be interested to see what the troubleshooting steps are. I haven't seen this problem in any other threads while searching...
  15. This happens without the HVAC turned on even. Air filter only has 8k miles on it, but I'll check it. What is a STAR case? I've never heard of that before?
  16. Holy cow, 8000k HIDs are like purple. Why did you go with that choice?
  17. I have a 2012 Crew 3.6L. Has 24k miles on it now. Haven't had a single problem to date. Starting a few months ago, the vehicle will shudder quite a bit when sitting at idle while in park or in gear. When in neutral, it doesn't happen for some reason. It happens whether the engine is warm or cold. The RPM's don't jump up and down at all, but you can easily feel it sitting inside. No wierd noises or anything. Anybody else experience this? Is there a TSB for this issue? Thanks!
  18. DodgeCares, So what is going to happen now that the TSB doesn't seem to fix the issue? Will there be a new TSB coming out?
  19. I think I'm going to plasti-dip my fake chrome clad wheels (I hate those things...).
  20. Is this for a 2013 SXT? We got our 2013 Crew fully loaded (leather, sunroof, heated seats, 3rd row seats, etc) for just over $24k total (with all taxes/fees/etc). I think you can do better if it's a 2012 SXT.
  21. You can upgrade the sub, that's what a couple of people have done on here. It's a stock 8", but you can make a 10" fit...and it still sounds much better even with the stock amp still. But, it's a HUGE PITA to get to the sub I hear.
  22. Do you know if the plastidip would stick to the fake chrome-clad wheels? I hate these wheels (I would've taken the satin carbon wheels anyday).
  23. I like the look! Did you paint them yourself just using duplicolor or what?
