  1. I agree with silenze, it's very overpriced. Check the market. You can buy a 2009 Journey in Canada for less than $8,000 with less mileage. dhh3 is right also about the brakes. Don't make the mistake that since you took excellent care of your first Journey that others do the same. Check out maintenance records if they are available if they're not don't even consider it.
  2. Talk to your salesperson. When we ordered our Journey the sales rep was very good with giving us updates on a regular basis. It makes the wait a little easier to bear. Good luck!
  3. No winner this week. Looks like you'll have to wrap it in tin foil!
  4. My thoughts and prayers to both of you.
  5. I'll be glad when the kiddies are back on school. Then they won't need to troll when they get bored.
  6. Everybody in Canada is a winner until they get elected!
  7. Brian make sure they have the right serial number for your radio. I had my radio replaced and they had the wrong number on file.
  8. Wow, looks like there's gonna be two winners!!! Somebody must have been sneaking a peek over your shoulder.
  9. You can listen to free Sirius radio through the Labour Day weekend.
  10. I would only use that if I got into a jam!
  11. I use Optimum No Rinse Car Wash quite often and it does a great job. It saves water and it's great for someone who doesn't have access to an outside water supply. If you have enough room in the parking lot of your apartment this could be an option for you. Here's the link to their website. http://www.optimumcarcare.com/onrwns.php
  12. Great report, but I'm not surprised!!!
  13. Nice ride! Congratulations.
  14. So you're undecided then, eh? Being close to the Canadian border must have rubbed off, eh?
  15. Congratulations and happy anniversary!!!!!
  16. The big thing to watch with any vehicle is the maintenance history of the vehicle. I'm amazed at some of the laziness of some folks when it comes to regular maintenance and they wonder why they have issues. Too many people ignore warning signs until it's too late and claim they bought a lemon. I have a file for everything for my Journey. I even make a note of the mileage when I change air filters, cabin filters and even bulbs. I don't like guess work. If someone makes the effort to maintain the records, you can bet they took very good care of their vehicle regardless of the mileage.

The only thing better than more Daves is more Johns, especially on long trips!
  18. I haven't had any problems at all with the Nav system in our Journey, as a matter of fact it worked flawlessly on our extended (8400 miles) trip through the U.S. and Canada. The only thing that I don't like is that you have to pay for the updates, which should be included considering the price they charge for the option.
