  1. They have since sold the GM van and used the money they made to buy a Windsor built Caravan.
  2. Welcome to the forum. Didn't Walmart get caught rolling back odometers also?
  3. Brian, when you do your first highway cruise you will be blown away. It's a fantastic highway vehicle. We did a 13,000 kilometre road trip through Canada and the U.S. our first year and the Journey performed like a trooper. Comfortable, quiet and good fuel economy and the engine is smooth as silk.
  4. You're lucky, think how much worse it would be with the bigger screen.
  5. Especially in big bottles!!!
  6. Hail to the Imperialists!
  7. We thought the grab handle on the Journey is in an odd location too. Not very handy at all. My mother-in-law used to refuse to use her cane for the same reason.
  8. Welcome to the forum. My 2013 Journey SXT with the towing package, is rated at 2500. Previous years they were rated at 3500, which may have been because of changes to the suspension in 2013 model year.
  9. Welcome to the forum. Have you considered a retractable running board. I just found this site, it might be worth checking it out. I'm sure there are others, but it's a start. My sister also has a difficult time as well. Hope this helps. www.pickupspecialties.com/power_step/powerstep/automatic_retracting_running_board.htm
  10. Welcome to the forum! You came to right place to find out about your Journey. A lot of great people willing to share their expertise.
  11. I have the Nav system and it works great, but I too had to have the radio replaced within the first two months. If I had to do it again, I would not order it because it doesn't have lifetime updates, and for the money they charge it should be included. It's the only regret I have, and like Lobitz68, all the other hardware is working fine!
  12. I think dhh3 is right about the battery. Are you sure it was the cabin filter and not the air filter? You can buy a cabin filter at Canadian Tire for less than $20.00 and sometimes on sale for $12-$13 and you're right a simple 2 minute job. The air filter is another easy job that they'll overcharge you as well. Those air filters are a little more pricey though - $40.00 or thereabouts at Canadian Tire.
  13. My wife was from Brantford! They sure sound the same, maybe they're cousins or there's more to this wives club thing!
  14. Does that void the warranty or is void is the wrong word?.
  15. There's an AFR feature (Automatic Fart Refresh) and you can get Journeyman425 to add it, but you still have to push the button twice to activate it. Nothing comes without a little bit of effort!
  16. Wow. Sorry I missed this the first time. I hope the surgery brought you some relief and you benefit greatly from it. My sister has been through several back operations as well. She's lost some mobility as well, but at least her pain seems to be under control.
