  1. When you put the warranty disc into your computer go to my computer on the menu and double click the icon to see if it will open. Mine wouldn't open automatically, but it did manually. Hope this helps. I don't think the warranty is much different in Canada.

  3. BTW- nice disclaimer lol. You get a PG rating!
  4. Isn't the Rio Grande wide enough to count?
  5. I ordered the towing package and it came with it.
  6. This is the first vehicle we've had with the heated seats. I didn't think it would make that much difference, but it sure is nice in the winter. My old bones sure appreciate it LOL!
  7. Welcome to the forum from Canada!!
  8. Welcome to the forum! We had record snow here last year and the Journey handled like a champ and that was without snow tires.

    Newbie here!

Welcome to the forum. With winter on the way, we can always use more sunshine!
  10. Do they read it in Scentigrade?
  11. I like to use Kilos for my weight. That way the number is lower Lol!
  12. It's all done by computer now and it only takes a few seconds to do the history. Your time of entry to the U.S. is recorded by photo so they can run your license plate number and they have your details already on the computer screen for the customs officer. They also enter your details on reentry for future reference. Oftentimes they don't bother with small purchases, but I would think that tires being a major expense that could raise a red flag.

    hi everyone

    Welcome to the forum!!
  14. I haven't tried it, but I've been tempted. Every time I think about it, my conscience reminds me of the number of people who rely on retail sales to put food on their table. After factoring in the difference in the exchange on Canadian money, fuel and cross border tolls it's not really a significant savings. The one big advantage to buying in the U.S. is the number of tire options available.
  15. We actually drove from Windsor, Ontario, Canada for a round trip total of 1,457 miles (not nearly as long as our 8,4000 mile trip from last year). I divided miles by gallons (55.7) to get the mileage. My low fuel warning light came on when I still had 6 gallons left in the tank, as usual. As bigtsr says the geographical area has an impact and considering the constant elevation changes between Windsor and Memphis, I was quite impressed. On a side note, I saw several Journeys being used as cabs in Nasheville and saw quite a few on the highway.
  16. I just returned from a trip to Memphis and Nashville and averaged 26 mpg. My Journey got better mileage after 7,000-8,000 miles. It's also front wheel drive.
