I wondered about that myself today when I had the same problem. Have a safe trip!
  2. Lawdog is right. It's a safety item. If you got "tapped" hard enough to set them off, make sure you get it thoroughly checked out, just to make sure there's no hidden damage.
  3. Wait till you get on the highway, that's where it really impresses.
  4. The LMK code could only be added by the Dealer up to 2013. Dodge changed the process for the 2014's.
  5. Congratulations on your DJ. It's great vehicle. Welcome to the forum!

I had Opti-Coat put on my 2013 Journey and it is good as advertized. IMy Journey will be 2 years old in December and I haven't had to wax it once in that time. It still has the showroom look. I would definitely recommend it. I don't know where you live but I've driven it through two harsh winters and a 13,000 kilometer road trip through driving rain, bugs and sand storms, with no ill effects. Here is a link so you can see for your self. http://www.autogeeko...ti-guarded.html

  11. Glad to hear you're enjoying your DJ! Welcome to the forum.
  12. Never thought of that, but I don't see why it wouldn't work. Red Green would be envious lol.
  13. There is no way I would "drive the car until the issue becomes frequent enough to create a noticeable pattern". That is the most idiotic response I've ever heard from a dealership. This is a serious safety issue and they shouldn't be making you and your family guinea pigs. If they don't know what the problem is they should contact Chrysler directly and ask for assistance. Did they give you another vehicle to drive while they were investigating the problem? I agree with davea180, their "experimenting" would get me seeking another dealership and quick!
  14. I don't think he has had any more luck than you or he would have given an update. I don't understand why they don't make it standard on all products. Anyway, keep raising the issue. Sooner or later someone is going to listen. Are there any states where day time running lights are mandatory? Can you even order a DJ in the U.S. with DRL"s as part of a package from the dealer? Good luck.
  15. Welcome to the forum. You are the first one with the 2015 so far on this site, so I doubt that anyone here will tell you anything different from the folks with 2014's. They are still waiting for a response themselves. Hopefully someone will be able to get this sorted out. Congratulations and enjoy your new DJ!!!
  16. Welcome to the forum Monica from British Columbia! Cheers! Rolly from Ontario
  17. bigtsr, is right. Mine did the same thing within the first two months, and they had to replace the radio. Welcome to the forum!
