Wow, less than 14,000 miles. Mine is a just barely over 1 year old and already has over 21,000 miles. Welcome to the forum. You're right, this is a great forum with a lot of helpful members and tips!
Well I'm not from the South and I don't understand it either. We've had over 20 inches of snow here in the last week and my Journey hasn't had any trouble navigating- and without snow tires. The only ones I've seen having problems are the ones that blow by the snow plows and the drivers who drive for the conditions. Keep feeding the tow truck drivers- they gotta eat too!
If you check the Owner Impressions section of the forum, I wrote a report of the road trip my wife and I took in May and June of 2013. We traveled to Winnipeg to visit family and drove through numerous U.S. states for a total of 8484 miles. Met some great people and saw some beautiful natural landscapes. It's a pretty detailed report and bottom line, our Journey proved what a great vehicle it is.
Welcome to the forum and congratulations on buying a wonderful vehicle. According to the Dodge Journey site you should get wireless head phones with rear video group option. Again, welcome to the club!
I have to agree with what others have been saying about their positive experiences. Of all the many vehicles I've owned over the years the Journey has been the best. I'm sure that there are some owners who have had bad experiences, but I suspect a lot of them could be attributed to poor dealer response (a few bad apples). I'm also curious as to why the majority of these one time posters make these claims without any specifics. It's also telling that many of them mention legal action. Could we be witnessing another example of ambulance chasing? Another explanation is that Paul could be a Forbes magazine writer!
I too wish everyone a great Christmas and if you're traveling stay safe. All the best for 2014!!!! Thank you to all forum members for your great advice and knowledge.
