  1. Now isn't that interesting!
  2. That's one of my favourite shows. We were in Vegas ealier this year and visited the pawn shop. Thiis was our second visit and the development from our first visit (1976) to our second vist this year is incredible.
  3. Today I took the Journey in for an alignment at the dealer. Too many times we complain about getting nickeled and dimed for unnessary services. That's one of the reasons why I went to a new dealer this time. As I was waiting in the customer lounge, a older couple came in and sat next to me. After 5-10 minutes one of the young service men came in and informed them that they had brought their vehicle in prematurely for their oil change. He explained that were not due for another 3,000 kilometres. If they wanted he would still change the oil but he didn't want them to spend money on something they didn't need. Needless to say they were quite impressed as was I. They told me they were going through some pretty rough times and had prayed for some good luck. It may be a small thing, but it sure brought a smile to their faces. I emailed the dealer and told them what I had witnessed and congratulated them on the good deed. It's nice to know that there is still some good service being performed at dealerships. Anyone else have a feel good story to share?

  6. Congratulations on your ride. I'm glad you share our enthusiasm. The Journey is addictive!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. I noticed some comments regarding purchasing vehcicles that sat on the lot for months that had various problems. I'm just curious how many Journey owners ordered from the factory or from dealer lots and what their experience has been. We ordered ours directly from the factory. We had to get the radio and GPS unit changed and bad weatherstrip on three of the windows replaced, but so far nothing mechanical in 32,000 km's. I'm wondering if extended storage on the back lot is contributing to some of the complaints. Care to share your opinion?
  8. I just noticed that the trailer tow package has gone up from $225.00 to $375.00 on the 2014's. I think that's a little much for what you get. I also noticed that you can't get the touring suspension on the SXT according to website. This is in Canada.
  9. Hi Terri, Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your new Journey. There's a section called Infotainment where the UConnect problems are discussed. If you do a search there, you might find the answer you're looking for.
  10. Welcome to the forum. I was in Winnipeg earlier this year visiting my brother. Congratulations on your new ride!
  11. Congatulations! I'm very pleased to welcome you. Enjoy your new ride!
  12. Did you buy it from a dealer or private? I keep every record of maintenance for my vehicles and I'm sure there is a record somewhere. I'm wondering if you can access maintenance records from your VIN #. This might help fill in the blanks. If so maybe DodgecaresCa could help. I'm with bigtsr on checking the maitenance schedule in the owner's manual. I went to a new dealer after the dealer I had purchased many vehicles was sold and their maintenance department started pushing a lot of unneeded work.
  13. Thanks for the info. I have been looking for some relief from dry hands. Everything I've tried has been only so so. I'll give this a try. thanks again! Either that or I'll quit washing dishes.
