  1. I get a lot of different products from from ehine, it's a great company. There's so much choice it's hard to decide and trial and error gets expensive. I'd like to hear what the forums members use- sponge, foam, wool or just microfiber towels. What's the preference?
  2. Boy, I can totally relate. I wash mine by hand 2 or 3 times a week at least. I'm glad I have the WeatherTech floormats with all the rain this year. Every other week I use vinyl cleaner on the door panels, seats and dash. I'm surprised that the brake dust hasn't been too bad. The DJ sure takes longer to clean than my old Neon though, LOL. The great thing about the paint treatment I have, I don't have to wax and I always use microfiber towels to hand dry. I also have a bottle of pre-mix detailer in case of air attacks. I keep looking for better wash mitts, so any suggestions?
  3. Welcome to the forum Carol. Have you had your Journey very long? We have the SXT as well- great vehicle!
  4. Hey Journeyman, Check out the post clean Journey in this section. I posted some pictures back in April.
  5. I have the Weathertech visors on my 2013 SXT and I don't believe there is any difference. I only have them on the front windows and they work great.
  6. Good job! I have the same color and you are absolutely right about it being an obsession. It sure looks great when it's clean! Good exercise though. Wax on wax off!!!
  7. Douible07, I hope you finally got it resolved. I had to get my radio replaced in my 2013 as well earlier this year. Fortunatley it happened before our extended road trip. The GPS now works flawlessly and is definately worth the extra cost. Good luck!!!
  8. With that low mileage since you bought it, I would think that the dealer would cover it. Did you buy it as is or with a valid safety check? If the dealer refuses to fix it, I would get it repaired (keep your receipts) and then report them to the Ministry or lodge a complaint with your local better business bureau if there is one. Oh and do what retomtoman recommended use aftermarket parts.
  9. Congratulations on your new Journey and welcome to the club! Glad to see you're already adding to the forum.

  13. That's terrible. Hope it doesn't take long for the fix.
  14. Now that's funny. I live in Canada and my Journey was built in Mexico and I have Day Time Running Lights. Several of the forum members from the U.S. have had this done as well. Hopefully they'll share their experiences and provide you with the information you need.

    Welcome to the forum Ben!
  16. redtomatoman is right. I have mine set that I only have to touch the front doors to open all my doors. Go to settings (doors and locks) to make the change.
  17. You're absolutely right the Journey does look good. I'm always amazed at the number of Journey owners there are from all over the world that come to this forum. The other thing that I've noticed is the wide appeal across age and gender. Just a great vehicle!
  18. Congratulations and welcome to the forum! You're going to love it on the highway- it's a dream to drive!

    Bug removal

I just got back from a road trip as well. I bought some Duragloss Bug Remover from a Canadian company called Eshine. It cost $7.69 for a 22 0unce bottle and it worked very well. The website is www.eshine.ca
