Welcome to the forum. I took ownership of my Journey in December and after a month all I can say is WOW! You and your wife will not be disappointed. You will find that the folks on this forum are very eager to share their knowledge and expertise. You'll also see that this is truly an international experience.

Did you get the WeatherTech bug shield from a previous year? I went on the WeatherTech website and it said it wasn't available for 2013. They also said the same thing for the mud flaps. I already have WeatherTech floor mats so I'd like to stay with them.

That looks great. The hood and window deflectors are my list as well. I already have the WeatherTech floor mats. I'm also thinking about the mud flaps for the front, but Weathertech doesn't have them for the Journey. Are your mud flaps Mopars?

Welcome to the forum. I've got a 2013 SXT and love it. I've only had it three weeks and already have over 1500 kilometres (over 900 miles) on it. I also have a 2001 Neon- you could say this is a major step up for us. My wife and I are planning an extended trip through the U.S. and Canada later this year and the Journey will definitely make the drive more comfortable. Enjoy your new vehicle and Happy New Year !

Although I'm not a Leaf fan, I wouldn't make any jokes. After all I'm a Detroit Lions fan. Pearl white was what I liked, but my wife liked the Copper Pearlcoat, so we went with that.

Welcome Tony. I'm a Chrysler retiree in the Windsor area. I just got my 2013 SXT 11/2 weeks ago and just love it. I got the Nav and opted for the 5 seater as well, heated seats and remote start. I can't get over how quiet it is and it handles very well. Hope you have a great Christmas as well and happy and safe travelling in 2013!

That was my choice of colour, but my wife liked the copper pearlcoat. Most of the Journey's have the black interior. We only saw one with beige interior on the lots when we were looking and liked it.You'll love it, it really is a nice contrast. If you check out the opti-coat discussion on the Appearance section you can see my Journey. Different Rolly- I worked at Chrysler Canada and retired in 2004.

We got the copper pearlcoat with the beige interior. Can't help you with the AWD, but the folks on this board are great at sharing. Enjoy!

I took my Journey in for rustproofing, fabric protection and undercoating today. On the weekend I had the paint treated with opti-guard and here is the before and after pics of the paint treatment. The opti-guard turned out fantastic. http://www.autogeeko...ti-guarded.html

Chris, I think we all appreciate what you and DodgeCaresCa do. You are absolutely right about no one should feel they can't ask questions on this forum. After all what would be the point of the forum. As a new Journey owner, I can say that this site helped me tremendously prior to my purchase and I expect it will now that I'm an owner. This is a whole new experience for us and I hope this forum can continue to be a positive experience where no one feels they can't ask questions without feeling intimidated. Every member of this forum was "new" at one time and I like to believe we joined to help each other and share information to make our ownership a better experience.

Talk about good timimg. I picked up my 2013 SXT yesterday and the WeatherTech mats that I odered came in today. Great fit and look sharp!
