Just got back from the dealer with my 2013 Journey SXT. Wow, is all I can say. It only took 92 days from start to finnish. It's Copper Pearlcoat with beige interior, navigation system, back up camera, heated seats, power seats, 3.6, five seater. Thanks to all the forum members for sharing your information, you were a big help. If I can figure out how to add pictures, I'll post them when I get a chance. What a great Christmas gift!

If I read the article correctly, they are basing this on someone else's opinion. They are just regurgitating info from another source. In my opinion this speaks to the laziness of the writer! Any credible writer would have done their own research. Kinda like he said, she said!

Wow, I can see why you're upset and have every right to be. It's amazing that there are so many happy Journey owners and yet there are serious issues with some dealers that boggle the mind. As a long time employee of Chrysler and now a retiree I have owned many Dodge products and they were very reliable. I had one dealership that I bought five vehicles from and after the dealership was sold, I noticed a disturbing trend in their service department. They were great at excuses and pushing unneeded service. Unfortunately this reflects back on Chrysler. There's an old saying "once burned twice shy". Hopefully this new dealer and Chrysler Canada recognize the importance of a long term positive relationship with their customers. Bonne chance!

Welcome Nicki. Lots of folks from western Canada on the board. Did you just buy it or have you had it for a while? I can't believe how many Journeys there are on the road. Yesterday I saw an artcle that said 2012 November Dodge Journey sales have gone up 77% over November 2011. That's a testimony to it's value and popularity. I'm expecting a call from my salesperson any day now to pick up my 2013 SXT.

What colour did you get? I ordered the tan mats two weeks ago. They're on back order though, so I'm still waiting.

Wow, what a difference in the oil change intervals over the years. I always change the oil in my 2001 Neon every 5000 kms and rotate my tires every second oil change. Is the change in oil quality the reason for extended life or is it the better specifications in the manufacturing of the parts of the engines that make this possible? Although I probably won't be towing anything, I ordered the trailer tow package for my 2013 Journey to help keep the oil temperatures down during long highway trips. The added security of the oil cooler and oil change recommendations give me comfort, but there is no way I would go 12 months between oil changes.

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your new Journey. My new Journey is supposed to be delivered the first week of December. I also bought the SXT and it's Copper Pearl Coat. It's a five seater.

Thanks. It was a pretty good guess. The salesperson just sent another email saying that the vehicle is in the Laredo, Texas area. She aniticipates delivery the week of December 6th. Ho Ho Ho- Merry Christmas!

Just got an email today from the salesperson. She says my 2013 SXT is built. I ordered it on September 10th, so not bad. I figure it will probably be another 2 or 3 weeks before I get it. Is that about right?
