This is exactly what's happening in my 2012 Crew (3.6), also I noticed that there is a latency in down-shifting, when the car speed comes down to 50 km/h the car would still be on 5th gear!!! Do you think this update will make it better?

I've been waiting for this update for long ... how can I go about updating my 2012 Crew?

Update: I have called the dealer service center and they said this is not normal and asked me to bring it in. I will keep you guys updated if interested.

I noticed a strong shudder happening when moving the steering while stopping and on Reverse or D. I have Crew 2012 v6, with 550KM on it. Do you think I should take it to the dealer to resolve those or it is normal? some people are saying this will go away after the break-in and after the first oil change. Any thoughts would be really appreciated.

It could be a security lock! try to read the security section of the manual. I had an Alero and I thought the car is dead when it happened to me the first time. It turned out I need to turn the key halfway and wait for 10 minutes and then turn it off and then turn on again! Just a thought.

I'm overall (so far) so happy with my Journey and hoping I'm not gonna see any problems soon. It sounds to me not all Journeys are the same! it might have something to do with luck, maybe? it's weird to see some soooo happy owners and some so frustrated and problematic owners of the exact same car! I now completed my 400 KM .. and still happy .. I will keep posting my impression every now and then! Thanks again.

You guys seem to have the same car I have Crew 2012 v6, This is my first three days with the Journey and I get scared every time I read this forum and all the problems people are having. Have you experienced any major issues with Engine/Transmission etc? any weird sounds? engine vibration on idle or D? The only thing I noticed so far (and I'm sooo paranoid and picky) is a very light engine vibration when stopping on a traffic light on D, or when moving the steering wheel while on reverse and not moving. is that normal? Your input is highly appreciated ... i'm so anxious! Nabil

I noticed that only 2009 and 2010 owners are reporting this issue. Anyone with 2011 and 2012 is experiencing same issues?

This is my third day with the 2012 Crew (with 8.4" media center and a load of features) I know it's premature to judge but so far I'm so happy with it. I only have one concern and I want to know if this happens with anyone of you: When I'm on reverse and moving steering I feel a little shaking from the engine ... and that also happens when I'm on the traffic light with D on, i can feel the engine shaking a little. Is that normal? anyone noticed this?
