Bought a new 2012 Dodge Journey Crew last week for $26k + hst = $30,400. It has sunroof, Uconnect, 8.4 screen (but no garmin navigation), rear camera but no sensor, blue color, aluminium wheels (no chrome), 3.6 engine, black cloth seats, remote start, push button start, etc.
My question is: the extended warranty for 7 years / 160,000 kms for $2,950 + hst (the dealer started at msrp of $3,700)
- is ext. warranty really necessary? considering they have improved and upgraded the 2012 version
- $2,950 + hst - is rather high compared to other companies warranties
Any comments on the extended warranty would be helpful.
And any repair history on the 2012 DJ Crew would also be interesting to read.
