  1. erwinji, This sounds a little odd that no warning lights accompany the chime. Is this something that happens all the time? I haven't heard of anything common so I would suggest bringing your DJ to the dealer, if there are chimes then likely a quick scan will reveal fault codes.
  2. Terri, Congratulations on your new Journey and welcome to this forum. This is a great resource for looking up information and sharing with other DJ owners. If your Uconnect was working fine and it suddenly became problematic with your Iphone, I would suspect a software issue with your phone. There are a lot of cases where updates are silently applied to your mobile device which alter the compatibility without you even knowing. Check with Apple to see if any updates were recently applied or check the software versions, might be as simple as that.
  3. burn2011, I agree with 2late4u, if you have an alignment issue that it will only wear your tires unevenly. I would suggest getting into the dealer for a quick test drive to check the alignment as your vehicle shouldn't pull the left unless you are correcting the steering wheel to do so.
  4. I haven't heard too many complaints about the RAZR, it was a fairly popular from what I understand. retomatoman had a good point, try deleting the phone and pairing it again as this phone is compatible.
  5. alainbock, You are absolutely right, it can be difficult for your dealer to identify any issues when certain features are working perfectly. How intermittent is the cruise issue, you can try and book an appointment with service if you can predict when it may happen.
  6. Rubberdude88, Thanks for the heads up, I'll take a look and if this is the case, I will forward this to the Mopar team for corrections if needed. Thanks again, good eye !
  7. Rubberdude88, You are welcome, and yes this answer can leave room for interpretation. Chrysler Dodge Jeep dealers are equipped to differentiate between component failure due to after market parts, we would certainly avoid dismissing an actual defect as being caused by the air filter or other. I could not foresee any issues with this K&N air filter but one never knows. Thanks, take care
  8. wingit11, Excellent question ! ! ! Whenever discussing warranty, it is important to understand the parameter and component in question and why it may have failed. A vehicle warranty is in place to protect the consumer against manufacturing defects. In other words, if a certain part or component failed within the warranty period due to said defect than it would be covered. If a certain component fails for reasons such as abuse or lack of maintenance, then no coverage would apply. With regards to aftermarket components, surely no manufacturer's warranty would be applied to any component that failed due to this aftermarket component. Essentially, there would be no warranty applied to any component that fails to due the after market filter that would have normally been covered. Overall, the installation of an aftermarket part does not void the warranty on it's own, however a restriction may be applied if warranty components fail due to that aftermarket part. Be cautious when installing aftermarket parts.
  9. burdnick, My first thought was something in the tread like a stone but that doesn't seem to be the case based on your assessment. Given the fact the vehicle is under warranty, I recommend booking an appointment with your servicing Dodge dealer. Your dealer should be able to identify this problem easily and repair accordingly. Keep us posted on here if you have any new updates, thanks.
  10. harleyhearse, PM has been received, I will start reviewing and PM you once more information can be shared with you. Thanks again!
  11. harleyhearse, Sorry to hear you are having these troubles, has your dealership been replacing these plastic pieces or have there been any other types of adjustment or modification to resolve the concern? If you send me your VIN, I can check to see what can be done to resolve this issue with the seats.
  12. gemini800601, Sorry to hear you are having trouble with your DJ. Did you buy this vehicle certified pre-owned from a Dodge dealership? If you haven't done so yet, please get the vehicle to your Dodge service facility for an inspection. Keep us updated on this thread if you can. Please send me your VIN if I can be of any further assistance.
  13. alphillips, How often are you hearing this clicking after shutting the vehicle down? I've seen a similar condition however it was related to a short in the wiring. I would suggest bringing your vehicle to your local Dodge service facility.
  14. biohazard, I'm sorry to hear the wiring harness is giving you a hard time. You did the right thing by contacting Customer Care. Have you been in contact with your Case Manager recently? If so please share the results of the review. I'd gladly see what I could do to help with the review if you send me a private message with your VIN or CAIR#.
  15. Bubba, I'm sorry to hear you've been having braking issues with your DJ. Have you contacted Customer Care to review these repairs? Can you please send me a private message with your VIN and contact information so I can take a look? Thank you
  16. zondaf1000, The front grille on the DJ was revised in 2011 and in newer models, I would imagine that it would not fit any 2010's or older models based on this change. Have you considered looking to fit a first generation Fiat Freemont grille on your DJ, this may be a suitable alternative?
  17. Not Happy, Congratulations on your new DJ. I would suggest speaking to your selling dealership to verify if any assistance can be provided as the vehicle was recently purchased. If we are discussing calipers, your warranty is valid for 3 year or 60,000 kms. If you send me your VIN, I'd be happy to verify the in service date of the vehicle to confirm the warranty parameter. Thanks.
  18. Hello Vito, Welcome to the forum ! We have some great members on here and everyone is very helpful and friendly. Always feel free to private message me with any concerns and I'll do what I can to help. Cheers !
  19. rusty wheel, I'm sorry to hear you are having rust issues. I haven't seen any cases myself for corrosion concerns with the DJ. Please update after visiting your dealer if possible.
  20. I don't blame you, congrats on your new Journey! ! ! Warm welcome to the forum, there's a lot of good information here and everyone is very friendly if you have any questions.
  21. jwhiddy, If you can send me a private message with your VIN, the dealer you are working with and the order #, I'd be happy to investigate this order. I'd like to report back with the order status and potentially assist in expediting the order as well. Thank you
  22. mkaus, You can certainly make this change, the greatest downfall is the cost involved. I would suggest speaking to your dealer for the technical details and pricing. bigtsr also had a good suggestion. Do a search and check out the other threads on this topic to get some feedback from other owners who've tried this.
