  1. Hi George. Exactly the same problem with my 2009. Exactly as you describe. It's been into the dealer eight times and each time they say there is no fault to be found. I've now contacted Fiat Automobiles UK and informed them of the problem which started whilst it was still under warranty. They arranged for the dealer to take it back in for a week and get various people to drive it. They did this and then told me that no fault was found. However, they were only driving it 'around the doors' and as you know the fault only materialises after a long run and then slowing down at a junction etc, missfireing as you try to accelerate away. I'm still waiting for Fiat to get back to me but to date everyone is saying there is no fault. Bob. I forgot to ask you George. Does your vehicle missfire at the same time or soon after a notable rise on the temp gauge?
