Hello everyone...I just recently purchased a new 2012 Journey AWD. Loved it....took it home Monday 10-22-12 with 75 miles. Unfortunately, I noticed the following day after returning from work that there was a puddle of red oil under my new cars spot in the garage....transmission fluid. After my sales person coincidently called me at that moment, he told me to bring it in the next day to be looked at. Upon taking it to the service shop, I was informed that it was a transmission pump that was probably bad and would need to be there for several days for a repair. How concerned should I be that the vehicle was driven @ 250 miles with this leak ( I drive over 75 miles round trip to work and the dealership is an hour away from my home).....I so liked this vehicle and hope that this is not a glimpse of things to come..
Please if any one can advise if they have heard or had similar problems or not.
