I found a crap ton of oil in my air filter box. Replaced PCV, hope that works.

They have to be aware because the fixed the problem in the later models. I advised the dealer this and they said the best they could do is give me a discount. so I think it was $8 off.

TPMS's cracking. Am I the only one???
mikeymouse replied to BLM's topic in Brake, Chassis & Suspension
1 broke off while driving, 2 cracked. $75 to replace the one at a dealership since it was sitting at a gas station. 1 is still ok for now, other 2 got rubber stems. JUNK! -
09 Power Window Issues

Mine turned out to be a bad fuse. It wasn't blown but I switched it out and everything was working again. -
09 Power Window Issues

I've just started having this issue today. I have an 09. Drivers side switch for front windows and power mirrors wont work. Passenger side switch does work. Rear windows do go down. -

Seized right rear caliper slide
mikeymouse replied to joe8918's topic in Brake, Chassis & Suspension
I had to replace my left rear caliper with the parking brake assembly at 36,500 miles. bs. Never had to replace a caliper on a vehicle. Yeah, thats right, 500 miles after the warranty ended. It was dry as a bone. -
Happened to me. '09 3.5. Heard ticking in engine. Checked oil. Dry dipstick. Just had oil change in Feb. 4.5 quarts low. No drips or puddles. No indicator light. Only warning was the engine noise. Used NextGen oil. Now using Wolfs Head.

My 09 3.5 is burning through oil fast as well. Just had an oil change in Feb. Added 4 1/2 quarts the other night after hearing a ticking in the engine compartment. Solved that. Must be burning it up. No drips or puddles. Sucks!

My '09's mirrors went from a small chip to about the size of a 50 cent piece now. Still bubbling and peeling. Surface is too smooth for the paint to stick.

No need to drill. Take a pipe cleaner and stick it into the drain hole on the bottom of the door and let the water run out. Sometimes those drains get blocked. I park under a tree and this happens all the time.

What happened next? I just put a set of Raybestos pads/rotors on the rear and the left side was smoking when I got to work. Coincidentally, this is also the side where the old pad was completely gone and left a nice gouge in the old rotor. Right side wasn't that bad.

So I heard a lot of knocking in the front end when going over bumps, potholes, railroad tracks, etc. It sounded like the entire front end was falling apart. Fortunately only 200 miles of my warranty left, I took it in to get looked at. It was the stabilizer bar bushings and linkage that "had play in it" and needed replaced. Took less than 2 hours. This seems to be a thing with Dodge. My parents had it on 2 caravans and it was the same thing.
