I brought the journey in the dealer and they came back saying that the *telematics module* is not responding when they try to read it etc. So first step is to replace this module. Dodge/Chrysler canada will not cover the part nor will uconnect. The part is $700 before programming and install. So right now the infotainment is pretty much useless other than music.

I looked up my vin on mitchell on demand but did not see any tsb's for this issue. I will send dodgecares a message and see if he can help. Thank you.

Hey everyone, So recently we now have about 74,000km on our 2012 Journey RT AWD and everything has been great with it until last week when the bluetooth/phone screen was having issues. If you go to the touch screen and try to use the phone it says *please wait while initializing* but it never actually does. You can not cancel, dial, or do anything with the phone. If I push any command buttons it will do nothing. Also the navigation does not work correctly as well, it will show me the turns etc but will not voice them. I have disconnected the battery and let it sit for a little bit and then connect again, after doing so everything works for a brief period of time and than back to the exact same thing. I have disconnected the battery 4 times doing this hoping it would just keep working but no luck. Now that im out of warranty the dealer does not even want to try and help me out over the phone, I need to bring it in for them to diagnose it (they are an hour away from me) I also asked to see if they have had any problems like this before etc but they just keep saying they will need to look at it first. Any help would be amazing!

I am also wondering this! Would love to have that here in nova scotia.

I am currently in a dispute with the company and will not release their name right now until it is settled. Either it will be positive or negative. The running boards look great, easy to install but they shorted two support brackets that I need. When installing them I came across 2 brackets and there are suppose to be 4, right now they will not help me out and keep hanging up on me. They say they can not supply them and I should take them off and go to a fab shop to make them. After everything I will release their name one way or another.

Hey everyone, The wife and I decided to go camping around the Cabot Trail, I am sure most Canadians already know what that is and if some people do not it is one of the top tourist spots in the world. The mountains run along the ocean nearly the whole time, unlike other mountains that are land locked. I have been around the Cabot many times but this is the first with the DJ. So I took some pictures And yes my son and pregnant wife are in one of the pics.. shh do not tell her ahah

I purchased my 2012 Dodge Journey R/T new and it never came with a painted to match grille. Mine is chrome. Unless its only 2013's that now come like that?

They were fairly easy to install and yes there is some drilling involved. I was not fond of that part but decided to go with it anyways. What you are drilling if 4 little holes into your rocker sill, the main brackets bolt onto the journey and there are 4 small brackets that stop them from flexing when weight it put onto the board. A bolt goers through them and through the rocker sill hole and bolts to the main brackets. It is easier than it sounds.

Well they are 3" and hollow, so I would say they are light and solid. They did not feel like tin to me. There's no manufacture band stamped on them anywheres.. Which I'm perfectly fine with. I can take more pics next week when I am home if you'd like. But for the $100 they cost they were a damn good buy.

I figured what the heck that I would try a set of ebay running boards on the journey, I got them in and put them on just the other night.

I decided to give my car a hand wash today and I noticed that nearly all my windows are scratched, to me it looks like scratches caused by a window scraper being used in the winter time. Now I use the same scrapper on both of my vehicles and the journey is the only one with scratches, has anyone else run into this problem? Is there something dodge has put on their windows (a coating of some sort). Thank you.

I found the issue! I just went out to the journey and pulled out the owners manual again, it is for the wrong year! I emailed my sales person at dodge and will send me out the correct one for my 2012. I just downloaded the one online from dodge for the time being. Thanks again!
