  1. 8.4 without Nav and now the Compass is available on the 8.4 and EVIC
  2. Thanks Chris it would be great to get some information on the 2012/13 models now that Apple supports MAP.
  3. Maybe if enough of us put our hands up something will happen - EG the compass issue that appears to have been resolved for most people.
  4. Webslave makes a good point, I think some of the problems are related to the customers often having a better grasp of software than the service departments attempting to fix the issues at hand. When I tried to get more information on 'who flashed, what and when' I got a bunch of the blank "I don't get paid that much mate".....
  5. The service department had closed by the time I picked up the car, so I only got to talk to my sales guy. I got the impression from him that it was just a software upload. But given he's not technical, that might be misleading. Whatever it was I think they found it by looking at the difference between cars that had the compass and those that didn't. Sorry I don't think that I've been any help at all........
  6. Does anyone know if the lockpick solution will allow direct use of the USB/SD?
  7. Took mine in yesterday. All fixed with what they called 'flashing it'. Both the EVIC and 8.4 now display the compass as well as the 8.4 having the settings available.

  9. Love my 2013 RT and all the cool screens, but the fake plastic chrome around the dials (speedo and tack) and trip computer in the dash just looks cheap. I'm sure it would look way better in either black or real chrome. Perhaps a combination of the two. Has anyone done this, or anything else?

  11. Mine is going in on Monday for them to take a look - though when I talked to them on the phone they didn't seem to have to many clues about where to start. I'm keen to hear how you get on next week...
  12. tried just about every trick I could find on the web over the weekend. No luck at all. Seems like we must wait for Dodge to support the two most widely used phones in the world. Either Apple or Samsung...... Be keen for any thoughts that anyone has had from Dodge on if this is something that they are working on, now that Apple support MAP.
  13. Thanks again Chris - where is the easiest way to check the build sheet? Would it be on the equipment list on the Dodge Owners site, or somewhere else?
  14. Sounds like this is a mix of hardware and maybe software. Chris is there a way to tell if everyone is in the same boat, or if some customers may have the compass module but no software, or neither the hardware or software?
  15. Thanks Chris, im sure we all look forward to what you can do for us. If we can get this and iphone sms support fixed then ill be a very happy man.
