Snowing like hell here today. Huge fluffy flakes. Bare pavement yesterday, traffic chaos today, because the idiots out there forget how to drive on snow. The Journey tucked away all nice clean and dry in the garage away from the idiots on the road! Plows out tonight, back to normal tomorrow.

Lobitz, now that you have winter tires, go get some used alloys for them! Then you don't have to change the rubber on the dipped wheels. I counted 24 alloys in the Twin Cities area on car-part.com. P.S. never believe the price they post. Everything at a wrecker is negotiable.

In this area we've had a rash of car/pedestrian collisions and some have been attributed to walking into traffic while texting. A dashcam makes this a simple investigation for the police and stops the constant accusations that "it's the drivers fault"

The reason for no dust is. Your 14 has Ceramic pads. Any dust that is given off is white. You can't see it easily.

Looking to pick your collective brains and any experiences. Next accessory will likely be some LED 9006 low beam bulbs. Some questions. 1 Anyone have heat issues and damage to the headlight itself? 2 I see most have cooling fans, but any fan that might have to operate in potential -20 C (0 F or so) temperatures makes me nervous for it's longevity. Anyone in an area that gets a "real winter" have problems with these fans? (Note; Winter in Alabama isn't Winter.) 3 I do believe fanless bulbs exist or are coming to market. Anyone used these? Sorry no. I don't use steelies. I use 19 in alloys for summer and 17 inch alloys for winter.

All the 17 inch wheels from Journeys are ok. None of the 16 inch wheels will fit. Journey shares the same bolt pattern with Caravans/Town & Country built since 2008. Not aware of any Jeep wheels that will fit. H.P.

When i ordered mine I told the sales guy that if they put a dealer sticker on the car I'd either. Immediately cancel the sale, or expect a 500 dollar a year, payable in advance, fee for dealership advertising. I have no dealer sticker.

Kinda wondered what set off those alarms at the exit doors of many retail stores. It turns out my Dodge Journey key fob does! So far, have triggered the exit alarm at Home Depot, Walmart, Sobeys, Visions Electronics, Best Buy. Not all the time but VERY frequently. Always at some stores. Did a test at one store with cooperative staff and proved it. Any one else have this happen? Sure gets the security people excited at Walmart! H.P.
