Buying an additional keyfob

I logged on yesterday to post a few things for sale from my Journey and I saw this and thought I would ask. -
Buying an additional keyfob
DTSGUY replied to cuevrojamez's topic in Alarms, Keyless Entry, Key Fobs, Locks & Remote Start
Is it true that if a key fob was paired with a vehicle, it can't be erased and paired with another vehicle? Cause I have 1 and maybe even a 2nd one that I would want to sell. -
I know that my answer here isn't going to be a popular one but I was never fully happy with my Journey. When I purchased it I was in a hurry and I didn't do my research on them. I purchased it in June of 2013 and at that time I didn't even know that the newer ones had a much better motor and the interior was MUCH BETTER than the 2010. After a while I didn't like the way it shifted and it didn't have enough power for me. Also I have 2 teenaged kids and one 12 year old so I found that its a little tight for us. Im not saying that its a bad vehicle by any means but its just not for me. I LOVE the way they look though. I hope no ones takes this as me bashing on Journeys cause thats not what I'm trying to do at all. Who knows maybe in 2018 after the turbo model has been out for a couple years and one of my kids have gone on their own, I might get a new one but for now I have to stick with my new Acadia.

Debadging the rams head logo on the back. Pins?
DTSGUY replied to DJ_AX's topic in Accessories, Modifications
I did it to mine and there were no pins. It was harder than the others though. -
Here is a discussion from a while back about the same thing. http://www.dodgejourneyforum.com/topic/5207-aries-custom-floor-mats/

Hello Dee, I think your feeling the bounce more cause your used to the smooth ride of an Envoy which is a bigger and heavier vehicle, however I do know what you mean by the bounce. I feel it at slower speeds especially on small streets with dips in the road but you'll get used to it.

Is this the factory unit that your referring to? I didn't know Dodge uses Garmin for their Nav.
-
The tape your referring to is just vinyl, the same vinyl that vehicles with advertisement have except its thicker. If you go to most any places that do vehicle wraps I'm sure they have it. Don't worry about the long term cause its easy to replace.

I have 20x9 Viper Replicas with 275/40 tires and they don't stick out at all. I love they way they look. But like people here have said you can easily find the Jeep Replicas that will fit just fine.

If you have FaceTime I'll show you how to do it. It's not hard at all.

That's exactly how I did mine.

I just had the exact same thing happen to my 2010. I took it into the dealer and they found that it was the heater hose assembly that was bad. Sucks cause it wasn't covered under warranty and it cost me $550 but if you take it to a nondealer mechanic it might be cheaper for you. I hope this helps. Good Luck.

Mine is just like yours. If you cant find the screws that fit at your local auto parts store im sure Home Depo has them.

I did a magnaflow exhaust system on my Journey and it sounds great. I also didnt want to go loud cause its a V6 and not a V8. I didnt want it to sound like I was trying to make it sound like a V8. I also had them put on Black Chrome tips and im very satisfied with the way it came out.

Projector Retrofit Started (finally)
DTSGUY replied to Lobitz68's topic in Glass, Lighting, Mirrors, Sun Roofs & Wipers
You dont need to completely remove the bumper but you do need to looses the ends and to do this you will need to access a bracket that is right in front of the front wheel well. Its kinda awkward to get to. -
First off I see that you just joined this forum. This isnt a place to bash on other peoples Joueneys. If you dont like something keep it to yourself. Everything that was done on my Journey was done by professionals. There wasnt any duct tape used while fixing my Journey. I dont know what your looking at in my picture but if you were to see it in person you will see that its done very well. Not everyone is gonna like what I did and Im ok with that. I dont like everything I see on other peoples Journeys but I keep it to myself and move on. I dont appreciate the negative comment but it is your opinion and im ok with that but keep it to yourself. I happen to like the way it turned out and I get positive comments on it all the time here and in person.

iOS 8 & UConnect Issues
DTSGUY replied to Armendegga's topic in Audio, Infotainment Navigation, MyGig, UConnect, etc.
Im sure there isnt a fix for it yet. Im guessing the UConnect systems will need to have a firmware update in order for them to comunicate properly with iOS 8 -
You can probably find a good used set on Craigs List for much less than what the dealer will charge you. I see them all the time in my local Craigs List. Heres a set right now on my Craigs List. http://denver.craigslist.org/pts/4634851284.html
