  1. I also have a 2010 Journey all Chrome Grill if anyone wants to trade for a Freemont Grill. Its an extra one that I have in my garage. Im not sure if I would permanently keep a Freemont Grill on but I would like to see what it looks like on my Journey.
  2. Heres more info on PlastiDip. https://www.dipyourcar.com/home.php
  3. Here ia a site with all the info on PlastiDip. https://www.dipyourcar.com/home.php
  4. Ive PlastiDipped a few parts on my Journey and never had to wait long at all between coats. I just did a part this last weekend. I did it in the sun so it can dry faster. I did 4 coats and it took me about 30 min to complete. Heres the link to what I did. I hope to see pictures of your project when its done. http://www.dodgejourneyforum.com/topic/5052-sun-glare-from-crome/
  5. Better??? Whats wrong with the ones it came with?
  6. Thank You. PlastiDip is a spray just like spray paint. You spray it on most anything. Its not a permanent color change but it last a long time. It comes in diffrent colors but Black, Red and Yellow are the most popular ones. The nice thing about it is if you dont like the way it comes out you can peel it off at any time after it dries and your part is as good as it was before you "Dipped" it. You can buy it at Home Depo in the paint department.
  7. I got tired of the sun glaring in my eye from the chrome reflection everytime I drive my Journey so I PlastiDiped the center chrome part. Here are before and after pictures. This only took me 30 min.
  8. Thank You, Im still doing more to it.
  9. I love the way it looks! Good Job.
  10. Oh I didnt catch that part.....Sorry. I would atleast get the rear doors but dont install them until you figure out what your gonna do about the front. In my opinion I would think the striping on the grips would be a bit much. Why dont you just have them painted at a local body shop? Or just ask them if they can order some for you. Im sure they will know where to get them. Have you checked the Dodge dealer? Im on a mission to find the black door handles for you. I hope you dont mind. I think this will work for you. It says in the discriptions that they fit the Journey and they also come in black but ask the seller just to make sure. Good Luck. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Custom-Color-Chrome-Door-Handles-2011-Dodge-Avenger-PICK-YOUR-COLOR-Grill-Wheels-/400525711688?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Year%3A2010|Make%3ADodge|Model%3AJourney&hash=item5d41315948&vxp=mtr
  11. I dont know how to remove the panel I havent gotten into that yet but removing the panel that holds the flash light is fairly easy, no tools necessary. Thats how I was able to determine how much room was in their.
  12. I found black door handles for you. I hope it works out. See link bellow. http://www.ebay.com/sch/6000/i.html?_nkw=Dodge+Journey+Black+Door+Handles&_dmpt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&_rdc=2
  13. I have a 2010 and I have the Hypertech Max Energy Programmer. I called them and asked them about the INTERCEPTOR for the 2011 and above Journey and its not available yet, I also asked them if the INTERCEPTOR for the Durango will work on the 3.6 Journey and they said it will not work. He also doesnt know when one will be available for the 2011 and above 3.6 Journey.
  14. Wow it looks fantastic, I love it!!! I removed my lettering and was gonna paint them black but they were very hard to remove and some of the letters broke so I decided to just leave them off all together. I just looked on ebay and I saw quite a few of them in black or you could have the guy that did your striping print them out in Vinel. I think they would look good that way too.
  15. I also have a 2010. Mine is a SXT AWD. I currently dont have a sub in mine at all but Im planning on adding a 10 inch in the compartment in the back that is inside the panel just to the right of the built in flash light. I have a custome car audio guy that will be doing this for me. Im hoping to have this done in the next 2 months. Ive already changed out the factory radio to a double din Pioneer. It looks great and I can still use the factory steering wheel controlers to control my Pioneer radio. Im gonna use all Hertz Audio for the door speakers, amp and sub. Ill post pictures when its done.
  16. I bought one for myself, see link bellow. http://www.dodgejourneyforum.com/topic/5039-my-experience-with-rpg/
  17. Ive read lots of things about RPG and I decided to give it a try for myself and here are my results. The ordering process went very smothly with no issues. I had it with in a few days, less than a week. It arrived in great condition and had all instructions with it even a cleaning wipe. The hardest part was removing the clips that hold the bumper on. Im gonna need to get new clips from the dealer or a local clip store that has the same ones in aftermarket. (This isnt gonna be a big deal. Ive gotten lots of different automobile clips from my local clip store before). Installing was very easy and straight forward just remove the red backing from the double sided tape, align the RPG on the bumper and press down so the tape makes good contact to the bumper. Over all and so far im very happy with the quality and the fit is excellent. It looks just as if it were an OEM product. I highly recommend it to everyone.
