If you want it done right - do it yourself This universal truth is unfortunately true. I'm not a mechanic and didn't want to run wires all the way through , so I installed a remote controller and switch the bar on and off with the remote fob. Bonus feature of that controller is that it has multiple flashing patterns, so I harass slow-movers with massive flashing once in a while

Mine is securely installed on the pegs supplied with the bar. I drilled wholes and bolt the pegs on the metal part behind the bumper. No zip ties, no glue - only rigid metal parts

No clue. I'm not aware on how the bar your refer to looks like. I measured how much space I have and then ordered to bar that fit that space.

I have a lightbar installed behind the lower grill. It works and look (for me) perfect: the light flow is not much disturbed by the grill, and the bar is not exposed that allows to keep the look clean. I have a video and photos on this forum - just search

My retrofitted headlights arrived
Totemus replied to Totemus's topic in Glass, Lighting, Mirrors, Sun Roofs & Wipers
Very fair statement. In addition, the plastic plugs that hold the bumper together, tend to deteriorate every time you take them out and back in. I broke couple of them while removing the bumper (twice), so you may want to have some spare ones before you start the project. -

I looked specifically at concealed installation to not to expose the light bar as I'm not sure troopers will appreciate such an evident off-road lighting exposure :shades: And from my point of view behindthegrill installation doesn't really hurt the output. -
