I have the Samsung Galaxy S2 and Uconnect doesn't support my Canadian phone.... no messaging for me either. At least the phone works.

Yes! Don't accept it in overcast weather as I did

I've had my mew '13 Journey for a little over a month. After about a week I noticed the steering wheel seemed to be a little off centre. Since I had continuous issues with the alignment on my old Caliber, I thought maybe I was being too picky and it was in my imagination. However I now have 2500 km (about 1500 miles) and it is definitely still there. Looks like it is between half to an inch out of place. If the steering wheel lined up straight, the car pulls to the left. Doesn't matter what road I am on or how fast I am going, it is always like that. Anyone else notice this in their DJ? OR am I just imagining that this could be a problem?

Welcome! I also moved on from an '08 Caliber to a '13 Journey and cannot be happier!

First service for new (to me) Journey R/T

I am in no way a mechanic, but here is my opinion. To me it sounds like to dealership service department is trying to take advantage of you. You really shouldn't need much service if the car is running and driving good. Find a nice friendly mechanic, ask for a simple oil change and get them to look over the vehicle. You will probably end up with a $50 oil change and that is all. -

My Caliber had this same squeak, started around 80,000 kms. My mechanic told me there wasn't much I could do as it was from dried out rubber and plastics seals that could not be replaced (easily). Every once in a while I had them spray some oil on them to lube them.... the squeak would be gone for a little while, then slowly come back again.

Done! Uploaded some pictures for everyone to check out.

Down shifting around third gear kicks or jumps more than often

Nice to know, I will ask the dealership if they can do a software update for me when I go in for service. Thanks! -
I have to go back in today to pay $100.... hopefully they will be of more assistance. However it is supposed to start raining and without sunlight on the car it is hard to see the fine scratches (I can, but I am anal about how my vehicles look). I am in a small town and don't want to be 'that' person, but also want my new car to look new. I'll let you know what they have to say today. Ugh!

Agreed. My issue is when I picked up the car, it was parked inside and looked perfect except for one scratch. Then it was overcast and rained for three days. It wasn't until the fourth day in the sunshine that we could see the 'dealer installed' swirl marks. If I had been able to see the car in the sun the day I picked it up, they would be more easily swayed to be helpful. Unfortunately for me it was after I had it a few days that we noticed the issue. Lesson learned - don't let the dealership touch my next new car! I think I will have to accept it for what it is, and save some cash for a professional detailing job in the spring. That way I know it will be perfect for sunny days next summer.

The dealer said he wouldn't fix the swirls marks because he was afraid to make it worse by buffing the car. I guess I will accept that as I am also afraid they will make it worse! Instead they applied the paint protection to see if that helps for under $100. Hopefully it did the trick.... I still see swirl marks but hopefully it at least doesn't get any worse for a while.

I had an old car ('03 Grand Am) hit in a parking lot, ended up with the bumper cracked. I thought it was no big deal but was told that the internal safety padding (??) was damaged and had to be replaced. Cost me $600 to have it repaired and it did not look like new when done.
