Not at all. Very satisfied with my tires, they're very good on dry and wet and I really like the look I bought them on quattrotires.com (pneusarabais.com in french) for 143$ if I remember correctly, they're in sale now at 129.95$ !!

2013 DJ R/T Towing harness & pull behind camper question
Ric04SiR replied to 2013RT's topic in Hauling & Towing
I would be very surprised if this weight is correct. I'm pretty sure it's 3000lbs and more. From what I can see it's seem to be an hybrid travel trailer and these normaly are not light! I would say that the number he gave you is in kg not in lbs, it would make more sense. My pop up trailer weight almost 2000lbs! Yes the DJ have plenty of power but the problem is the transmission not the motor. I would not recommended you tow that trailer with your DJ -
It's still snowing here and someone backedup in the passenger side of my Journey too . My Journey is going to the bodyshop next monday for at least a week, after that, when the temperature is ok i'll put the new tires on and post pics

Nah, free shipping. Received them today and got them installed on my blacktop wheels. Can't be worst than the Khumo, I hated them.

Just ordered my new tires. More choices with the 255 than the 245. I bought MOMO A-Lusion M9 255/50r19 they're made for SUV, don't really know this brand for tires just for wheels but they were 200$ cheaper than the Goodyear F1 Asymetric SUV. I will post pics when installed

I'm about to order new summer tire. My original Khumo tire are so worn out that my Journey is shacking badly over 100km/h I've been looking for wider tire (love the look) and 255/50r19 seem to be the best fit to replace the original 225/55r19 but I want to be sure that it won't rub anywere with the R/T / Blacktop wheels? Anyone here that use this size on these wheels? I can have Goodyear F1 Asymetric tire at a realy good price

really nice! I like the stripes
-
I think you should use 255/50/19 instead of 55 https://www.tacomaworld.com/tirecalc?tires=225-55r19-255-50r19

Nice aftermarket headlight
Ric04SiR replied to Ric04SiR's topic in Glass, Lighting, Mirrors, Sun Roofs & Wipers
another one here http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Head-Light-For-2009-2014-Dodge-Journey-JCUV-Headlight-LED-DRL-Bi-xenon-projector-/151532953411?fits=Make%3ADodge|Model%3AJourney&hash=item2348115f43&vxp=mtr I was looking for aftermarket headlight for the Journey, not that I really want to change the blacktop original that I have but at that price I'm sur now I will keep the original. Some Years ago I changed the one on my Grand Cherokee and I did'nt pay that much! -
Nice but way too expensive for me! http://www.ebay.ca/itm/HID-Headlights-For-Dodge-Journey-JCUV-Head-Lights-2009-2014-LED-DRL-xenon-Lamps-/161545317073?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Make%3ADodge|Model%3AJourney&hash=item259cd9ead1&vxp=mtr

The Grand Caravan won't be dropped, it won't be made on the same platform as the Chrysler T&C anymore.

Hi Canadians! and the rest of the world

Also FWD and my pop-up trailer weight 1800lb dry. The pop-up trailer is full, the storage box in the front must have 150lbs in it, there's the propane tank and the 12V batterie too. The DJ is full with luggage, two childrens and two adults and it feel safe but I keep my distance and don't drive over the limit even if it could go easily over.

My DJ Blacktop edition with a Flagstaff 620ST 2 weeks ago in the Gatineau Park...and delicious chicken brochette on the Bbq mmm
-
Didn't know what to expect, if i would need a weight distribution hitch because of the weight on the tongue. It as a dry weight of aprox 1700lbs and the weight on the hitch without the propane tank and the 12V batterie beside the tank is 260lbs. But finally it did great on the highway, no problem breaking and accelerating, almost feel nothing.

Switchbacks... Anyone Got Them
Ric04SiR replied to Lobitz68's topic in Glass, Lighting, Mirrors, Sun Roofs & Wipers
No I don't have them, just found the link by doing a search. But like you said, I would prefer too with a built-in resistor. -
That is not a class III hitch
