Well, the fuel level sensor or connector is faulty. I don't see how that would cause the vehicle to shut off and not restart for an hour though.

I'm sure it is possible. Not sure if you have the air bags in the seats on either one, but I've heard on other vehicles, disconnecting the electrical connector will set off the air bag light and only the dealer can reset it. Probably the brackets are the same since the only changes are appearance.
