  2. This thread is 6 years old. If you have a question, it is better to start a new thread.
  3. We have lots and lots of threads regarding oil change intervals. Hopefully his question regarding modifying the oil change indicator was answered.
  4. You can't. Just change the oil when you want to and reset the light when you do. The light operates off some complex algorithms in the computer. It may come on at 8000 miles, may come on at 4000 miles, it may come on at 2000 miles. It's all based on driving cycles, driving habits, etc.
  5. What did the engine come out of? How many miles are on it? Who replaced it? Is there any kind of warranty?
  6. Good sleuthing brother. Good luck! Glad I got that maxcare warranty.
  7. Most tire places now make you get a "TPMS rebuild kit" when you buy new tires from them. I assume it's either replacing the batteries or replacing the unit so they don't have to deal with people coming back when the light comes on after getting new tires. At least discount tire does.
  8. That piece of electrical tape does not look factory to me.
  9. I say go for it and find out. Be sure to take pictures of the carnage.
  10. post a pic. might be for the alarm.
  11. We've had adults in the third row for hours long trips. A little tight but no one complains. Just move the middle row forward to give them some more leg room.
  12. Lots of threads in audio infotainment section. Start reading.
  13. It's either the valve or the actuator. Had the actuator go out on our 09 at about 60,000 miles. Dealer replaced it under extended warranty. Really can't "fix" per say, gotta find out which one it is. If it's the valve, the whole intake manifold needs to be replaced.
  14. Is it possible for you to have someone sit in the car with their foot on the brake, turning the wheel back and forth and you stand outside and try to pinpoint the sound?
  15. 09-11 have undersized brakes and tend to warp easily. Upgrade to some good quality aftermarket rotors and pads.
  16. Sounds like a clock spring or the switch went bad.
  17. Welcome from a southwestern VA native. You'll get plenty of answers right here.
  18. You are dealing with a Canbus system here. Not a typical automotive electrical system. You will find screwy voltage readings everywhere.
  19. Good luck. Buying a used vehicle is always full of surprises and salesmen will tell you anything to make a sale. Could you describe the issue in more detail? Does it do it idling? While driving? How is the oil level and condition? what engine are we talking about? I understand your frustration but we need more information if we are expected to assist you.
