  1. Never noticed that in my 09 in the 80,000 miles we owned it.
  2. Buy a scanner. Then you will know. Could be simple. Could be major (like the intake runner valve position or a transmission sensor that will cause limp mode).
  3. If you mean a 1500 truck, no.
  4. I have not experienced this issue. 45,000 miles.
  5. The Journey already has a cold air intake. Adding a ram air intake just increases the noise but also introduces hot air into the equation that would not be there otherwise. Makes you think you have better throttle response because of the noise. As stated, your car, your money.
  6. Try disconnecting the battery for a bit. Reset everything. Is your battery still good? Weak batteries cause all kinds of weird issues.
  7. Couple of existing threads on the subject. http://www.dodgejourneyforum.com/topic/2974-43-backup-camera-install/?hl=+backup+camera Welcome to the forum and good luck!

I got my knee slapping!!! Yes. They are stupid.
  10. I went through this with our 09. Read the code, found out what it was (intake runner valve), cleared it and took it in and they told me that can't do anything unless that CEL is on. I was like come on, read the code. Had to wait till the light was on again to take it in and they would do something about it.
  11. If you get it to work, you'd be the first Journey with fog lights that are actually useful. Interested in seeing the results.
  12. Take it to an autoparts store and have the codes read. They are still stored even though the light is off. Sounds like a misfire. Report the code here and we can begin to assist you.
  13. May not make the best sense, but I moved this to the electrical section as there are a few existing threads here with the same issue. Might read through those to see if a solution is presented.
  14. Not any more than all the other mid-size CUV's out there.
  15. Are you AWD? Can't assume anything without that info. If so, it's 1.3 pints. http://www.amsoil.com/mygarage/vehiclelookuppage.aspx?url2=2010+DODGE+JOURNEY+U
  16. Keep your foot firmly on the brake when shifting between park and drive. See if that helps.
