  1. Not trying or wanting to start a debate but the last oil change I decided to let the car tell me when to change it instead of my normal 6000 mile/6 month interval. It just came on today. 7770 miles and 7 months after the last change.
  2. Bout the time ours will be ready for a trade in!
  3. 1. Empty the glove box. 2. Remove the glove box by pressing in on the tabs at the edges to allow the glove box to swing down out of the way. 3. Disengage the two retaining tabs (1) that secure the particulate air filter cover (2) to the passenger side of the HVAC housing (3) and remove the cover. 4. Remove the particulate air filter (1) from the HVAC housing (2) by pulling the filter element straight out of the housing. Installation is reverse of removal.
  4. You are absolutely right. Everything I've read to this point says Avenger until I stumbled upon a car gurus review which stated the Sebring, Avenger and Journey share the same platform. I had a 99 Sebring convertible which is what I was thinking of first before remembering the Sebring was made up until 2010. I miss that Sebring. I stand corrected. Sorry for the thread hijack, OP. Learn something new every day. : )
  5. Unfortunately not a huge aftermarket for performance or parts. Free up the intake and exhaust might give you a few ponies. Not enough to really feel though. There are aftermarket accessories out there to dress it up. Dash kits, chrome stick on pieces, etc. search on eBay and see what they have.
  6. Actually the Journey is based on architecture that underpinned the last-generation Chrysler 200 and former Dodge Avenger. The platform is sourced from Mitsubishi and shared with several of its models, including the Outlander crossovers and the Lancer.
  7. I just run them out and close the lid. I have not had a problem with the cables getting pinched or anything like that. I believe the lid does not rest on the edges, like there is a built in gap all the way around it just for that purpose. I have not looked closely to verify I just figured it was that way because even with the lid shut I can still move the wire.
  8. I found this on the Ohio DOT site: Use of studded tires or tire chains in Ohio is permitted between Nov. 1 and April 15 or times of extreme weather conditions. Extreme weather refers to the presence of snow and/or ice on the roadway. And this from the owners manual: Traction devices must be of proper size for the tire, as recommended by the tire chain manufacturer. Install on front tires only. Due to limited clearance, P225/65R17 tire with a Security Chain Company (SCC) Super Z6 low profile tire chain or equivalent is recommended. http://www.peerlesschain.com/brands/traction/traction-product-choices/super-z6-tire-chains/
  9. I can't begin to/don't want to think how it feels to lose the love of your life. Hang in there man. Keep that Hellcat between the ditches.
  10. Welcome to the forum. What is the fluid level and condition? How many miles? Garage reset the diagnostics meaning the check engine light was on? What was the code?
  11. Glad you a enjoying yourJourney. Parking will become easier with practice.

  13. Exactly the same as mine except for the AWD part....
  14. Did you tell them a turn signal is not supposed to stay on? It blinks.....Depending on year and mileage, it's not unheard of for a motor mount to fail. They are made of rubber.
  15. It will cost you the labor costs for the amount of time it will take.
  16. Put everything back the way it was and see if that corrects the problem.
