  1. Welcome to the forum and sorry for your issues. Lets try and address one thing at a time. As for the overheating, when you "top it off" are you using straight water or the recommended mixture of the correct coolant per Chrysler? Assuming you are using just water, that could be a source of the overheating. The stop leak could have gotten into the heater core and clogged/partially clogged it. At this point I would be more concerned with getting the cooling system fixed, radiator, etc. as continuing to drive when it is constantly overheating can cause serious damage. Where is the fluid going? Is the radiator leaking that bad where you need to constantly top it off or are you burning it, which is indicative of a blown head gasket?
  2. You can shoot some low temp lubricant on the moving parts and see if it quiets it down.
  3. No it is not a normal thing and yes, it's because it's frickin cold. Things squeak when it's cold. Even human body joints. Don't worry about it.
  4. You replaced a perfectly good set of tires due to hearsay on the internet?
  5. 9006: CREE 60 watt/5000K 9005: CREE 60 watt/5000K Fog:30 watt/6000K
  6. Yea, I know I gotta do that. I should have taken a before shot too. I can offer this though: Old yellow fogs and original headlights: LED everything:
  7. Does the owners manual describe the different scenarios where the remote start may be disabled?
  8. Also, just to answer your question directly, you go to the dealer and buy new tires. That is the process for getting new tires from the dealership. However; you would probably get tires cheaper by shopping around.
  9. One of our remotes is still on the original battery. The other I've had to replace once since 2013.
  10. Easy enough to confirm if you can recreate the condition but this time use a warm FOB.
  11. I got 40000 out of mine. No complaints. Some people have good luck, some have bad. Many factors influence tire longevity. OEM or aftermarket. Do some searching in this section. There are plenty of threads discussing the OEM kumhos. Seems to be about 50-50 on wearing quick or lasting. However, as stated, tires are warranted by the tire manufacturer. Not the vehicle manufacturer. If you bought it new, there will be a separate tire warranty guide in your glovebox.
  12. I listen to talk radio and sports channels 90% of the time. Lol.
  13. To me, they have the same pattern as regular bulbs. No cut off that I can tell. Just much brighter. I will say the ones I have on with the cooling fans are very noisy. I'll probably spring for those ones with the heat sink next time.
  14. They couldn't pick something more original than Pacifica? That vehicle was terrible itself. The restyle does look good though, IMO. I believe the wife wants to get back into a minivan for her next vehicle,
  15. Closed due to op starting a new thread on the same subject.
  16. That's what I'm saying. Sure. I could upgrade and it would sound "better", but I'm perfectly happy for what it is. I have no complaints. If I did feel so inclined to sink money into a vehicle I'm making payments on and will probably be gone in a few years, I'll put that money into gas, tires and oil. GTO. I have no problem with people who feel otherwise. Your arguments to the contrary won't sway my opinion. Audio quality is not high on my list of desirables when purchasing a vehicle I know I won't keep.
  17. To all my DF friends. Can't we just all get along? I apologize for my past transgressions. Let's all just bury the hatchet and move on. I would ask, in the future, arguments be done through PM's and not out here for everyone to see. We all bring valuable knowledge and past experiences to the forum. Let's try and keep it that way. Topics get taken off track way too much. If we are to be a technical resource instead of a Facebook page, we need to focus on the thread topic. Useless memes and arguments don't help the person asking an honest question and makes searching for an answer about damn impossible. I'm not trying to be a nazi, but I do need to maintain control as it seems I'm the only active mod (with extremely limited powers) on this forum. I don't like it, but I will start deleting posts that don't address the thread question/issue. There are no stated rules for this forum, admins fault, not mine. That being said, I will use my own common sense ( which may not be shared) in determining thread responses and will delete said responses if I determine they are not helpful. Some of you may not like that aporoach and I encourage you to propose alternative methods. Or feel free to contact an admin (I honestly have no idea who he/she/they are). Bottom line, there are Facebook groups out there for Journeys that have people asking questions we have answered 10 fold and I invite them to visit here as this should be a more controlled environment to ask questions and not get flamed for it. Yes, I have not been behaving appropriately, but I now realize that and want to make this forum great. Hope you can understand.
  18. Warranty work does directly cost the manufacturer. So they will try to save money wherever possible. Is it right? No.
  19. I'm sorry but I assure you it does sound just fine for our tastes. Yours may be different. It's like paint colors or tires. Everyone will have a different opinion. No worries and it's OK to feel differently.
  20. It's the nature of the beast with these vehicles, provided you have the v6. They make all kinds of noise on startup.
  21. Haha. You gotta be a bit limber but you can reach them from underneath. Jack the front end up enough so you can crawl under and see where the bulbs are at. Then it's mostly by feel to remove and install. Took me about 10 mins per side. Including swapping the o-rings.
  22. I was able to do mine from underneath without having to remove the fender liner.
  23. Yeah. I took the o-rings off the OEM bulbs and used those. Without o-rings, you will run the risk of moisture inside. It's not running through water that causes it, it's the temperature difference when the housing heats up and cools down. Hopefully LED's don't get hot enough to cause that problem.
